The LEGO news has been very quiet lately but that has been blown out of the water with an unofficial reveal of the list of characters from the LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures (71012). From what’s been told, there will apparently also be a commercial coming out for the minifigures as well. Of course, we get some of the usual cast of Disney characters while some are surprises. You might notice there are some big names missing like Goofy and Pluto among others so that could set up for another wave in the future.
The LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures (71012) will be available in May with 18 to collect. What do you guys think of the list of characters chosen that will be in the series? Thanks to CM4Sci for the heads up.

Donald Duck
Daisy Duck
Ariel
Ursula
Peter Pan
Captain Hook

Mr.Incredible and Syndrome!!
Wtf was the leaked Blonde sleepyhead hair for then !?!?!
Shows you how to not trust leaks as they could be used for something different.
Well the Syndrome, Mr fantastic ,Pan and Ursula hair in the leak was all legit atleast, I guess the hair was somehow tennis players or a hairpiece for a new fig comming up
But they already have a “Friends” Ariel. Will this be the first character to exist as both a minidoll and a minifig?
As it turns out, yes.
ay! i just remembered you’re from TMS! 😛
nice to see ya
Good to see you too!
So…these are definitely going to be minifigures and not minidolls? And, since they’re in the Collectible Minifigure range, will characters like Captain Hook and Alice be traditional LEGO yellow or will they have the “fleshy” colour of licensed minifigures? Will Mickey and Minnie have big old Simpsons-like heads? Really curious to see some pictures…
They’re minifigures. There’s an image floating around but I’m being cautious about it so I took it down.
Very interesting picture. There’s some good stuff in there. For what it is, I’m quite pleased and will probably end up buying a box. Lots of interesting new prints and pieces – even if you’re not a huge Disney fan.
Whatever happened to that non-traditional Buzz Lightyear head piece from the 2010 Toy Story theme?
I dislike the traditional Lego head for Buzz (as shown above). It seems like a step backward, and a curious decision.
People are still joking about how bad the first Squidward Tentacles figure looked with the traditional head. Buzz isn’t quite as bad, but still not better.
(that being said, for some reason I prefer the SW Tusken Raider w/ traditional head, but just shows you, you can’t please everyone)
How do you buy an entire box? Do you just call lego?
Well I assume you have to wait until they’re out first 😛
No, you can get a box from authorized sellers, or those who who take pre order box orders on eBay, as well as buy a box from a retailer. LEGO will limit you to x amount of packs and not allow boxes to be purchased if the past CMF series are any indicator
it doesn’t say, but I’m thinking this picture is a fake. Too much is un-Lego like.
It’s legit.
Thanks for clarifying. (Though I’m now wondering what happened with some of the designs)
No Pluto or Goofy. It’s like making a Star Wars minifig set without C3PO or R2D2.
If you want to make a long-lasting toy series , the last thing you want to do is put all the important characters in your first wave. You could argue the same thing about Woody, Tinkerbell, Lilo, and the rest of the incredibles.
Look at any Star Wars action figure line from Hasbro. With the exception of when there’s a new movie, they never put out all the main characters in one wave of figures.
You mean they didn’t put out Rey, Finn, BB8, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Chewbacca, or Poe Dameron in the first wave of “The Force Awakens” figures, or Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, C3PO or R2D2 from the first “Star Wars” line?
Dipper and Mabel would be great picks for series 2, they could represent a modern Disney channel show without resorting to a sitcom character.
I’m not really all that impressed, sad to say. While there are a few I would like to get, like Maleficent, Aladdin, Ursula, Alice and Peter Pan, I’m not a fan of the molded heads. Lego really didn’t do a very good job at making these characters fit their style – there’s some effort, but overall they look like bad foreign knock offs to me. I may just sit this wave out.
A lot of these look absolutely terrible. Will probably get;
– Maleficent, solely due to the horned piece
– Three-eyed toy story alien, as it looks reasonable
– Stitch, who also looks reasonable
– Ursula, for what appears to be a new squid/octopus lower half
Other than that, the face prints look terrible on many of these. The molded heads look horrifying and many characters just don’t look close enough to what they are meant to be;
– Captain hook and Peter Pan look like murderous with large grins
– Ursula has lipstick smeers all over her face
Just an absolutely horrible looking set of figures, unless this image happens to be prototypes instead.
ay, is it scarillian vids i see here? 😛
Buzz is easy to spot, but it appears that the Claw Alien is different from the original version also. I can’t say for sure, but the feet could be painted a darker color (though it could just be a shadow). The collar, on the other hand, definitely looks red where the original three are dark-purple.
The Lego Disney Collection minifigures are great design on the Lego minifigure.
Not disappointed whatsoever! Many pleasant surprises everywhere here.
On the up side, the mini figures that are good are distinguishable from the rest because of all the specialty pieces, so feeling for them won’t be very hard.
Is it just me or do alot of them look a little pudgy?
So, do you guys think the image that was removed was preliminary or the final version of the minifigures?
