The next LEGO Jurassic World Rebirth set that we want to check out is the Brick-Built Mosasaurus Boat Mission (76974). It contains 858 pieces and retails for $59.99.
Minifigures
There are only two minifigures in the set Atwater and LeClerc. Atwater wears a tan outfit with a tactical vest. The legs are dual molded showing him with shorts. There are some pockets printed on the sides as well. He has a single-sided head showing a stern look. His accessory is a tranquilizer gun.
LeClerc has a tan plaid shirt that is open chested with a bag strapped around.
Build
There are parts to the whole build for the set. First is the little rocky area. There’s not much to them but one is large enough to put the boat on it as if it has crashed even though LEGO states that it can be used as a display.
The boat has your standard speedboat look to it but it has some minor modifications to make it a research boat. The front has one seat for the driver and there’s another spot for a minifigure to stand in front of the dinosaur tracker.
The back of the boat has a large case that stores syringes.
The Mosasaurus is made up of a number of smaller sections that are connected by ball joints. It has a brown and olive green color scheme and uses some printed curved tiles for the detailing on the top of the body.
The head is the largest single section of the build and it has some printed eyes and uses hinges for the mouth.
There are some front and back fins that uses hinges for some more articulation.
The LEGO Jurassic World Rebirth Brick-Built Mosasaurus Boat Mission (76974) like with the other sets in this wave is just okay but they are also overpriced. The boat is your typical looking one with some enhancements to hit. The Mosasaurus is fine but building the sections got a little repetitive.
