E3 2017 is at full swing and the folks over at Warner Bros. Entertainment has teased a character reveal for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. They are also giving you a chance to win this mystery character as an 18-inch LEGO build when you retweet their tweet. They have given a clue of the character as “Formerly frightful” so there’s something to go on. The prize value of the LEGO character build is approximately $2,875.00. This contest is open to US only.
Warner Bros. will be livestreaming at http://live.wbgames.com and their panels for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be at the following times:

Well it’ll be a member of the Frightful Four, so either the Wizard (who was the leader), Klaw (who’s appearing now in the teaser trailer for Black Panther, so synergy) or Sandman (who I guess has more or less become a hero, thus “formerly”, although a lot of people have come and gone from the team over the years).
My main guess is Sandman, because I don’t think these games have playable villains?
The Lego Marvel games have plenty of playable villains. You usually don’t play as them in story mode, however. Side missions and free play often contains villains.
Ah ok. Then it could be a bunch of people, especially if we assume the silhouette is just representative of a generic minifig and not character-specific.
I still lean to Sandman just cause I think he’s the only reformed member, and I can’t think of anyone who famously left the Frightful Four. They just have different incarnations after getting broken up and re-forming.
The statue could be of his sand form as well, not his “human” form.
