The other LEGO Minecraft movie set that we want to check out is The Ghast Balloon Village Attack (21273). This set contains 555 pieces and retails for $69.99.

Minifigures
There are a six minifigures in the set which include Steve, Natalie, Dawn, a villager, and two piglins. Steve we’ve seen before with this blue shirt. He has the same expressions as before with the smile on one side and angry expression on the other.

Natalie is seen wearing a graphic t-shirt with a teal cardigan. Her double-sided head side shows her with a smirk on one side and a shocked expression on the other. Her accessory is a hoe.

Dawn wears a bright orange tracksuit with striped details. The minifigure shows yellow on her arms and parts of the torso even though the coloring in the movie is clearly white. Her double-sided head shows her with a smile one one side and a stern look on the other. Her accessory is a shovel.

The villager has on some thick robes with the arms crossed in the front. He has a blocky head with the large nose.

The piglins both wear brown sleeveless shirts. The heads are specially molded for the character showing its white eyes and the snout on the raised part of the face. Their accessories include a sword and a an axe.

Build
The build is made up of several smaller builds. First is the brick-built iron golem. The arms are on pins and the legs and feet are clips so it has very rigid movements. It does have a printed tile for the chest and a printed face.

On to the village, the largest building is Steve’s fried chicken restaurant, Steve’s Lava Chicken! It’s pretty much a stand that sells chicken. The logo is a large brick-built chicken and it has a hidden spot where it can lay an egg when you pull the wattle out. The pillars that hold up the roof has a couple of printed tiles.

The crafting shack is a little smaller and there’s not much to it besides the crafting table in the middle.

There’s also a couple of market stalls selling fish and vegetables.

The smallest part of the build is the little fountain area that can blow up when you hit the lever.

Lastly we have the ghast balloon. To make it seem like it is flying, there’s a beam in the middle that props it up and is surprisingly sturdy. The chains on the side hold on to the basket below. The face of the ghast is brick-built using plates stacked on each other. The mouth is actually a slot for a disc shooter that shoots printed round fireball tiles.

Results
Overall, the LEGO Minecraft The Ghast Balloon Village Attack (21273) like with the other movie set is just an okay one. You do get the other main characters from the movie which makes them exclusive but then you have to get another set to get the full cast. A majority of the builds are extremely simple but the one that gets the most attention is the ghast balloon. At $70, it is on the pricey side and I would think a 20% discount would be a more ideal price point to get it.

Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
