San Diego Comic Con 2025 has come and gone and we can now do a recap on the LEGO happens during the event. Before it started, LEGO announced a few new sets that will be coming in the next few months. These include the LEGO Nintendo Game Boy (72046), LEGO DC Batman Arkham Asylum (76300), a new wave of LEGO Wicked sets, and the LEGO Stranger Things BrickHeadz Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will (40801). All of the sets were displayed on the outer edges at the LEGO Booth.

Speaking of the LEGO Booth, they were one of the main highlights of the whole event with the recreation of the convention center. It was made up of over 200,000 LEGO elements and has over 8,000 minifigures that are placed inside. It took 16 builders over 1,500 hours to create the masterpiece. You can still check out the booth at home by doing a Virtual Booth Tour.

If you try out the interactive zone of the booth, fans were able to build their own version of a booth and if they were good enough, they would be placed inside the brick-built convention center.

As for the exclusives, there was a lot of stuff available even though they weren’t the sets and minifigures from years past. The main ones were the Pop Badges that you can get each day which included LEGO Ninjago Legends Monstrosity, LEGO One Piece, LEGO DC, and LEGO Wicked. There was also one for Preview Night which I wasn’t able to get.

In addition, there were a number of posters LEGO was giving out at random times throughout the day. My favorite one was the LEGO version of the Giant-Size X-Men #1 from 1975.

There was also a copy of the LEGO Magazine with an exclusive cover.

For the panels, there was the LEGO Ninjago and LEGO Masters one on Thursday and Friday, respectively. If you follow our X/Twitter, we did some live tweeting for both panels. For Ninjago, the main takeaways were that Dragons Rising Season Four will be coming in 2026. We also got a teaser of Lloyd for Season Four.

There’s also a continuation of Ninjago Legends: Monstrosity called Kai’s Monstrous Journey which will be airing on July 31. Another piece of news was the Ninjago will be coming to Roblox. If you want to watch the full panel, DuckBricks has posted it.
For the LEGO Masters panel, Joshua Hanlon from Beyond the Brick hosted the finalists for this season of the show along with the showrunners. Brickmasters Amy and Jamie or Will Arnett did not show up and neither did the new upcoming host Nick Cannon. The big piece of news out of here is that there will be a LEGO Masters Jr. season coming this August and they also teased there could be a season two of it as well.

Overall, not a bad year for LEGO. Their booth recreation of the San Diego Convention Center was the main highlight for many. The swag was okay but doesn’t really compare to the stuff from many years ago.
