LEGO Seasonal Easter Rabbits Display (40523) Review

A new LEGO Seasonal set releasing in a few days is the Easter Rabbits Display (40523) which consists of 288 pieces and will retail for $12.99. The 2022 Seasonal sets feature a pair of animals corresponding to a particular holiday as well as a small scene. What’s nice about this year’s sets is that two people can build at the same time as the instructions are separated by builds as well as it having numbered bags.

Build

The first three bags lets you build the brown and white rabbits. The brown one is in a standing position while the white is in a sitting position. I do like this change from the Valentine Lovebirds (40522) as they are not just a color swap.

The last four bags allows you to build a small spring meadow that is filled with different colored Easter eggs and tulips. There are five eggs and three tulips and you can technically fit all of them on the meadow while having the rabbits on it as well but it’ll be a tight squeeze.

Results

Overall the LEGO Seasonal Easter Rabbits Display (40523) is a fun set that goes well with the holiday. I do like the rabbits aren’t the same and there’s variety in them in both color and positions. The small meadow is also a nice little build especially with the sloped area on the right side. The instructions don’t say to put all the eggs and flowers on but you can still manage to do so but the final result may look a little busy. I do like the fact that LEGO is letting multiple people build at the same time on these small sets although it isn’t considered part of the Build Together campaign.
