We already know that the not-so-secret LEGO Star Wars UCS Death Star (75159) will be coming next month as a VIP early access set. There are now non-leaked images of the set coming out of the Arundel Mills LEGO Brand Store in Maryland with an employee building the set in full view in front of customers.
While we wait for LEGO to send over the official details of the Death Star, we can see that it’s pretty much the recently retired Death Star (10188) but with small updates. For those who missed out on the previous set, you can now get this new version with updated minifigures being one of the highlights.
We should be getting the official announcement in a few days but rumor has it that the set will go for $499.99. Sound off in the comments below of what you think of the set.

I’m actually angry with how identical this set is to the previous one. I wanted the first Death Star set for years and when I finally got one I was happy that I owned a special one off set. Now another one the same shows up to turns the set i wanted for years to nothing. Lego are really pushing it now.
Why is your set “nothing”? The two sets are practically identical.
Seems the exclusive Hoth set isn’t the only repackaging middle finger to fans. There’s so much Star Wars material to make new or even redo that would be better and fresher than this. I’m just glad I own the original.
How unoriginal 75159 is… At this point, I think 10188 is a better value even in the secondary market since many KFOLs and AFOLs probably have most of these minifigs from recent sets.
I have one thing to say: Seriously?
This can not be the same Death Star that was rumored to be released by the end of this year. This must be a model of the old Death Star that a fan modified ever so slightly. I suppose we’ll have to wait a little longer to see the REAL new Death Star set.
