DK has just revealed the exclusive minifigure that will be in the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: Updated and Expanded book on their Facebook Page. It will be Luke Skywalker in his Tatooine outfit. They named him “retro” Luke Skywalker because it is the same yellow-skinned variant that was found in the Landspeeder (7110) set from 1999. This year marks the 15th Anniversary of the LEGO Star Wars theme and DK is acknowledging that. The book is available for pre-order on Amazon and will be available in May.

….You have to be kidding me. That is the ‘exclusive’ minifigure? I still have mine from the Landspeeder set back in the day. Eh, then again at least it isn’t just another Stormtrooper and is a nice throwback for anyone who missed out on the original Star Wars Lego sets. I still was hoping to see an actually exclusive minifigure instead of a total reprint of an older one though.
Same. I think it is a waste of an opportunity to give us something cool like a Phase II Cody
I agree it’s not a good minifigure as we thought but at least for some people, it’s a chance to get a throwback character with some updated printing. I’m actually more excited for the book itself.
But the printing is not updated! It is the exact same figure!
