A few weeks ago, some official images of the winter 2017 LEGO Star Wars sets came out and one particular set was pretty intriguing. This set was The Phantom (75150) based on the Rebels series and one of the minifigures featured was Grand Admiral Thrawn. The image was pretty hard to see if he had the correct red eyes for him. Now more images have come out and we can now confirm that he does indeed have his red eyes which is a relief for many fans of the character. The one thing that isn’t correct is his insignia of Grand Admiral. The ranking on the minifigure only shows him as Admiral.

If you look at the box, he’s listed as only “Admiral Thrawn” not “Grand Admiral”. So based on that, the insignia is correct.
But at this point in the timeline on the show, he is a Grand Admiral.
Very irritating when they miss details on a character like that.
