In other LEGO Simpsons news today, LEGO officially revealed the LEGO The Simpsons Minifigures Series 2 (71009). We first talked about the list of characters included in the second wave back in December. They will be available on May 1st with some popping up in various retailers in late April.

Awesome! How come LEGO doesn’t come up with a similar “belly” mold, like they used in the hobbit series in the unexpected gathering to make comic book man, homer, chief wiggum, etc appear fat? They are already using new molds, why not create a mold to make some of these characters fat.
