Cartoon Network has officially announced that a new LEGO Unikitty show will be coming to the network later this year. There will be some new character being introduced in the show including Unikitty’s brother, Puppycorn and her bodyguard, Hawkodile. Also living inside the castle is Dr. Fox.
The voice cast includes Tara Strong, Grey Griffin, Kate Micucci, Roger Craig Smith, Eric Bauza, and H. Michael Croner. Dan Lin, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Roy Lee, Jill Wilfert will be the executive producers of the show.
As ruler of the kingdom, Unikitty has busy days full of royal responsibilities. Unikitty is most interested in making sure everyone is happy and ridding the kingdom of negativity, but don’t misunderstand her optimism – she is one kitty not to be crossed. While she may be full of boundless energy and creativity, Unikitty is a force to be reckoned with if anyone gets in the way of spreading her positive vibes, especially if anyone makes her little brother and best friend, Puppycorn, sad. Also living in the castle are Dr. Fox, the resident scientist, and Unikitty’s trusty bodyguard, Hawkodile. Through it all, Unikitty and her friends make sure that every day is the happiest and most creative ever.

i want to see the figs
i want to see the sets
Do you think there actually will be sets?
I don’t know why Lego would make an entire TV show and then release nothing in connection to it.
Calling it now, Puppycorn will be in the LEGO Movie sequel.
I’m double called it!
Is it just me or do the characters in the picture look like they were literally cut from somewhere else? Finn’s outline especially looks kinda off… also Steven looks off model.
It looks like the row of viewers at the bottom of the image is all hand-drawn (or designed to emulate that look) with lines of varying thickness. You can see this most effectively in lines drawn within the characters, where it can’t be the result of a cut-and-paste job. In contrast, all of the Unikitty show characters look like they’re drawn on computer, where the lines will all be a 100% consistent width that makes the hand-drawn stand out even more in close contrast.
Looks like Unikitty is the 1st & only LEGO Movie star to have her very own cartoon show!
Lloyd might disagree with that…
LOL
And BATMAN got an entire spin off MOVIE! Eat that Unikitty!
Nah i don’t think so, Unikitty got more fans than Batman in the LEGO community, so sorry.
Unikitty: 10 variants available across 9 different sets (including one SDCC exclusive).
Batman (not counting cape/cowl variations): 44 variants (including the three TLBM Batcave costumes, and all four Bruce Waynes) available across one CMF line and 61 sets (excluding Toy Fair announcements and Batman-themed sets w/ no actual Batman minifig) including two SDCC and one NYCC exclusive, plus one constraction model, two Brickheadz sets, and a special Pick-a-Brick model at the LEGO Stores. Also, no less than two themes and one sub-theme are named after him.
Unikitty has one upcoming TV series (which will run a rather short season, I believe), while Batman has his own theatrical release, a half-hour TV special, a series of five direct-to-dvd movies, a series of three video games, and he’s one of the focal characters for Dimensions.
So, yeah, I can totally see how you might leap to that faulty conclusion in spite of the overwhelming evidence against it.
Nope! Sorry not gonna happen, if Unikitty’s 1st season a hit like all LEGO cartoons she’s gonna be here at Cartoon Network for the long haul. That’s it.
But does she have two spin off Lego themes and over 40 variants? NO! CAUSE BATMAN IS BATMAN!
Man, if you never heard of Unikitty JUST GOOGLE IT YA PUNK! Man what ya jerk, Allen just block The Anonymous Hutt because he doesn’t care LEGOs having their very cartoon shows now.
MY GOODNESS! THIS IS ALL IN GOOD FUN! Of course I’ve heard of Unikitty! I’m just trying to be funny!
1: I can’t remember where I read it, and I can’t seem to find it anywhere now, but I saw someone mention that this was only on tap for a short season at the moment. Something like 10 eps, I believe. Given how Cartoon Network works with many of their shows right now, even that’s somewhat ambiguous, as to whether it’d be 10 full half-hour episodes consisting of a total of 20 shorts, or if it’d just be 10 shorts that only make up 5 full episodes.
2: Just because Batman is more popular doesn’t mean this can’t be successful.
3: Just because this might be successful won’t mean she’s more popular than Batman.
4: A movie deal shows more confidence than a TV series. This holds far more true for properties that primarily target kids, as it’s easy to get kids to park themselves in front of TV that they don’t have to pay for, but a lot harder to convince parents to spring for tickets and concessions for the entire family.
Uh, if it weren’t for Lloyd and the rest of the NinjaGo Ninjas a.k.a. the Wu Cru, we wouldn’t have LEGO cartoons like Legends of Chima, Friends: The Series, Mixels, Elves: The Series, the Nexo Knights, and now Unikitty: The Series.
I think Hero Factory actually predates Ninjago, so you could consider that a sort of pilot project for TV shows
True you totally agree with that.
LEGO Atlantis had a TV special nearly a year before Hero Factory’s first mini-series premiered, and Bionicle had several direct-to-DVD movies that released before that, following an attempt to release the first of those movies theatrically.
No! My eyes! WHY?! WHY?! WHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYY???!!!
Really don’t see the problem here. Who knows? It could be good. It does have some talented people working on it including Lord and Miller who are producing.
I’m completely kidding. I just can’t stand Unikitty. I don’t really mind the show, as I’m not being forced to watch it. 😉
I know I am going to love this new TV. Show on Cartoon Network and I just hope it doesn’t air on a time I can’t watch it. Well if it does I can always record it anyway.
