Minidolls

There are three minidolls in this set, Glinda, Elphaba, and Boq. Glinda is in a more lavender colored dress with some metallic turquoise detailing. She has a more happier expression for this set. Her accessory is a brick-built trans-clear wand.

Elphaba has the black dress with purple details. This version of her is the more iconic look with the broad shoulderpad piece. She has a slight smirk and the hat is molded on to the hair.

Boq has on the gray uniform which is sort of foreshadowing to what he’ll be later on. He has a smile on his face and he wears a gray hat. His accessory is a hatchet.

Build

There are two parts to the build, the flowery part of Munchkinland and Glinda’s bubble and the Munchkin cottage. The smaller build has part of the Yellow Brick Road that leads up to the bubble pedal which is removeable. To the side of it are a lot of pink tulips and a sticker sign for Munchkinland.

The other part of the build is a much larger Munchkin cottage. Like many of LEGO’s houses in the past few years, the cottage is just a facade with lots of the detailing in the front. There’s lots of color on the thatching with orange and red straws going around it.

Results

The LEGO Wicked: For Good Glinda & Elphaba Visit Munchkinland (75690) is an okay set but it could’ve been way better. There’s not much to say about the smaller build but I assume it’ll tie in to the cottage in the movie. The Munchkin cottage looks really good from the front but the back leaves much to be desired. I would’ve preferred if it had something like hinged sections that open up to show the inside but those kinds of sets are rare.
