Legosamsonite over on Eurobricks has found a new LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Spider-Man vs. The Venon Symbiote (30448) polybag over on eBay. This polybag features a normal Spider-Man minifigure and also features the Venom Symbiote which is some sort machine and includes five Venom heads. There’s no word on where it will be available here in the States or how much it’ll go for. Thanks to PolyD for the email heads up.

We’re ripe for another Deadpool set. With him Deadshot and Deathstroke, I would have the ultimate merc trio.
I’m worried we might never get a Deadpool set again- with the R-rated movie, Lego might want to distance themselves entirely from the character.
Maybe, though by that logic they may want to distance themselves from everyone in Suicide Squad including HQ.
Suicide Squad, despite the costumes (or lack thereof) of certain characters, is still a movie aiming for a PG-13 rating. So while Lego will make sets that take advantage of the movie’s release, but don’t tie into it directly, they’re very unlikely to do the same with a hard R movie like Deadpool. Especially since the movie comes out in under a month, and we haven’t seen a hint of such a set.
Maybe if this movie does cause a significant rise in Deadpool merch sales, Lego may just release a set in time for the inevitable sequel.
Except at least for Suicide Squad, LEGO has the DC license with Warner. LEGO does not have a license for Fox’s X-Men movies, so that’s a big difference. Disney probably doesn’t want to be seen as promoting the Fox X-Men stuff in any way anymore. Marvel Comics just ended the Fantastic Four comic books indefinitely. I’m pretty sure they are waiting for Fox to give up the film rights back to Marvel. Their latest film effort was such a disaster that no one but Marvel Studios can save that franchise. And when they do, they’ll bring back the comics.
Interesting it has 5 heads and no piece count. I thought most pollywogs had a piece count for NA release.
That poly will keep the kids up with nightmares.. Freaky looking as a LEGO set
Looks incredibly freaky, but no dual molded legs for Spidey?
wtf
this is amazing
It’s just the symbiote, it’s not a machine.
