Ript Apparel has released a new LEGO shirt design today featuring The LEGO Movie’s Benny. The shirt is called “A Spaceship Odyssey” which is a play off the classic science fiction movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. It will be available for 24 hours and pricing starts at $11 for the regular t-shirts.
It was been fairly quiet on the news front but over on the LEGO Ambassador Network, it has been announced that LEGO has found a replacement for the Americas Community Manager position which was previously held by Kevin Hinkle. As you may or may not have known, the position was in the air the past few months as Kevin was moving to another position within The LEGO Group. Starting on July 1st, Paul Striefler will be taking over and you will be able to meet him in some upcoming LEGO conventions.

Just2Good on Eurobricks has provided some official images of a new LEGO Star Wars Rebel A-wing Pilot. This version of the pilot is from the Star Wars Rebels animated series with the helmet piece with some nice detailed printing. There’s no word yet at this time on how the Rebel A-wing Pilot will be distributed.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the details for what will be included in the Season Pass for the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game which comes out next month. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced further details on the LEGO® Star Wars™: The Force Awakens Season Pass, which grants players access to a variety of downloadable content (DLC), including new game levels and story-driven content, as well as additional characters from across the Star Wars ™ galaxy.
The Season Pass features three brand new Level Packs that extend the LEGO® Star Wars™: The Force Awakens adventure with exciting new content not seen in the movie. Each add-on pack will allow players to experience key events from the film in different ways, including Poe Dameron’s journey back to the Resistance base after crash landing on Jakku, the assault on Maz Kanata’s castle through the eyes of Kylo Ren and the collapse of Starkiller Base from the perspective of two Resistance pilots. The Season Pass will also include five Character Packs featuring well-known Star Wars™ heroes, villains and Droids.

Our friends over at PromoBricks has found a new exclusive Toys R Us LEGO set that is available over in Germany. The set is called Geoffrey & Friends (40228) and it features the Toys R Us mascot and two children minifigures. The set contains 133 pieces and retails for €9.99 which will most likely translate to $9.99 if it is released here in the US. As a R Us employee, I would definitely want to pick this set up even with the creepy looking Geoffrey. I checked the system this morning and there was no record of the set at this time but I’ll keep you guys updated.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that a new Super Hero will be available in LEGO® Marvel’s Avengers – Spider-Man! The Spider-Man Character Pack will be available starting today as a complimentary download for all consumers who purchase the game. This exciting new content will feature six (6) fan-favourite web-slingers in full LEGO ® form, including the character’s first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as seen in the recently released blockbuster, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, and classic versions from select Marvel comics.
