LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Toys R Us X-Wing Building Event

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Toys R Us X-Wing

Yesterday, I talked about some of the upcoming building events for October. Hoth Bricks has found a new Toys R Us building event for a mini LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens X-Wing Fighter. This event will be held on Saturday, November 14 from 12-2pm. This X-Wing is Poe Dameron’s version and is slightly different from previous X-Wings we’ve seen from Toys R Us. Mark your calendars because I expect this building event to be very popular ahead of the release of The Force Awakens in December.

LEGO Ideas Doctor Who (21304) TARDIS Teaser

LEGO Ideas Doctor Who

The LEGO Ideas Facebook Page has posted another teaser with the caption “landing soon” for the LEGO Ideas Doctor Who (21304) set, this time with the TARDIS that we’ll be getting. I’m not sure if the caption means that LEGO will be officially revealing it or if it means that we’ll be seeing it in stores soon. Rumor has it that the set will be a November release which also coincides with the release of the LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204). If you look closely, the Police Box sign appears to be printed but it’s hard to tell if it’s printed or stickers. Also notice the hinges on the side which means the TARDIS will be able to open up to show some details of the control room.

Upcoming October 2015 LEGO Building Events

There are couple of upcoming LEGO building events for the month of October at various retailers that you and your kids may be interested in. The first is a Toys R Us event on Saturday, October 17 from 12-2pm. As you can see above, there is a free mini LEGO City Kayak that kids can build and take home. Image via Instagram.

The other building event is at Barnes & Noble. On Saturday, October 10 at 2pm, there is a Star Wars themed event that includes a LEGO make and take project. The build will feature the Millennium Falcon. Space is very limited and sign-ups are required so if you plan on attending this one, call or visit your local B&N to reserve your space.

Of course you have the LEGO Monthly Mini Build Event at LEGO Brand Stores on October 6-7. Hopefully you’ve already signed up for that last month.

LEGO Ideas 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Nautilus Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas is the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Nautilus by Alex Jones, aka Orion Pax. The project features the iconic submarine captained by Nemo in the Jules Verne classic.

This is the second project in as many days to hit 10k supporters for the Third 2015 Review Stage with the Jurassic Park Explorer hitting the milestone yesterday.
