LEGO Boston Headquarters Officially Opens

Two years ago, The LEGO Group announced that they will be moving their North American headquarters from Enfield to Boston and they have officially opening it yesterday. Just a short ways from Fenway Field, the new headquarters will be an innovative space for over 800 employees.

Upcoming LEGO Make & Take Events – May/June 2025

Mark your calendars as LEGO Brand Stores in the US and Canada will have some Make & Take events coming up. All the events are on a first come, first served basis.


On May 18 from 12-2pm local time, there will be a LEGO Ninjago Thunderfang mini build. The LEGO Store Garden State in Paramus, NY and at The LEGO Store University Place in Orem, UT will be held on Saturday, May 17. The LEGO Store Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA will have theirs on Sunday, May 25.


To celebrate World Play Day, LEGO will also have a LEGO World Play Day Planet mini build. It will be held on Wednesday, June 11 from 5-7pm local time.


Finally we get ready for Father’s Day as there will be a LEGO Father’s Day Paddle mini build which will be held on Sunday, June 8 from 12-2pm local time. The LEGO Store Garden State in Paramus, NJ and at The LEGO Store University Place in Orem, UT will be held on June 7.

LEGO May 15 Releases Now Available

It’s now May 15 and there are some new LEGO sets that have been released as well as some promotional items that you can also get. As you can see the three sets that have been released include the LEGO Super Mario – Mario Kart – Mario & Standard Kart (72037), LEGO Art Keith Haring – Dancing Figures (31216), and the LEGO Icons Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (10360).

In addition, there are also the Up-scaled Baby Astronaut (40767) gift with purchase set with general purchases of $150, while supplies last.


Ninjago fans can also get in on the fun as you can get the Mini Ninja Combo Mech (30699) polybag with LEGO Ninjago purchases of $40.

LEGO Opening Virginia Regional Distribution Center in 2027

A few days ago, The LEGO Group announced that they will be opening a region distribution center in Virginia in 2027. They will be investing $336 million to build a 2 million square-foot RDC in Prince George, Virginia which will support the factory opening in Greater Richmond. It will be the second distribution center in the company’s Americas network and will be operated by a third party logistics partner.

Virginia, USA, 8 May 2025: The LEGO Group today announced it will invest US $366 million to build and operate a 2,000,000-square-foot regional distribution center (RDC) in Prince George, Virginia, U.S. The RDC is expected to be operational in 2027, with construction starting later this year.

The RDC will support the LEGO Group’s future factory in Greater Richmond, Virginia, which is currently being built and set to open in 2027. The new facility is part of the company’s global supply strategy to locate factories and distribution centers close to major markets and ensure capacity to support future growth in the region. A build-to-suit lease for the RDC was signed with Crosspointe Commerce Center, a joint venture between Hillwood Investment Properties and The Silverman Group.

Carsten Rasmussen, Chief Operations Officer of the LEGO Group, said: “The regional distribution center will bring greater flexibility to our network, ensuring we are well positioned to support long-term growth in the Americas.
