LEGO Looking for Brick Film Creators for 2024 Products

LEGO will be doing more brick films for 2024 products and they are looking for creators who are interested in doing some freelance work. The position is a paid one and you will need to create up to 5 videos around 2 minutes each. This most likely will allow you to get some sets early to create the content from them. If you are interested, you can sign up here. The deadline to enter is before July 30 since that is when LEGO will be sharing the list of potential picks with their partner.

The LEGO Group is currently seeking applications from brick film creators interested in a paid opportunity to create brick films for future LEGO sets. If you are a brick film creator with the equipment and skills to create fun and engaging content, please consider signing up on the link below. Each creator will be tasked with creating up to 5 videos (all around 2 minutes in length) and the work will be spread throughout the end of 2023 and into 2024. The selected persons will need to create and submit storyboards for approval and videos are likely to include a few rounds of review and approval.

As the project is confidential, the survey includes questions about your favorite theme and passion when building. This is to help identify relevant brick film creators.

All submitted information will be deleted on or before December 31st, 2023.

BrickLink Announces MOC Pop-Up Store Pilot Program

BrickLink has announced a new pilot program called the MOC Pop-Up Store which allows select BrickLink Designer Program submissions available for purchase through the BrickLink Marketplace and on LEGO Pick-a-Brick.

Fans will be able to purchase digital instructions from the BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 and 2 and can either use BrickLink or LEGO Pick-a-Brick to get the parts from. Essentially, this means you can purchase some of the other builds that weren’t chosen from the five finalists from each series.

The BrickLink MOC Pop-Up Store will only be inviting a select group of 5 BDP fan designers to participate so it’s possible that you may not see projects that were previously voted on before. The pilot will run from August 29 through mid November.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Lyonsblood is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The LEGO Ideas Singles’ Day My, Myself, and I fan vote is now live and you can vote which set you want as a future gift with purchase set. There are 15 finalists and fans have only one vote to pick your favorite one. The premise of the contest was to build something people do by themselves using a maximum of 250 bricks. Too bad LEGO has to choose only one because a lot of them are really good. The deadline to vote is only one week on July 11 so get your voices heard.

LEGO Icons Eldorado Fortress (10320) Now Available on LEGO Shop

One of the more anticipated days of the month is here and I’m not talking about Independence Day. The LEGO Icons Eldorado Fortress (10320) is now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. The set retails for $214.99 and is a tribute for the 1989 set of the same name. Unfortunately, there are no promotions going alongside it and it’ll probably be temporarily sold out by the time the next one comes around.
