LEGO Ideas The Iron Giant Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Iron Giant by hachiroku24 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is based on the giant robot from the animated movie of the same name and is fully poseable.

LEGO Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary Sets Revealed

LEGO will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park with five new sets coming this summer. The sets will feature various scenes from the film. Personally, I’m extremely excited for this as Jurassic Park is my favorite movie of all-time. They will be released in June but you can pre-order a few of the sets starting today.

The LEGO Group Celebrates 30th Anniversary of Iconic Jurassic Park Film with Launch of Five New LEGO ® Jurassic Park Sets

March 8, 2023 – The LEGO Group has revealed five new playsets in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the original, iconic Jurassic Park film in LEGO® brick form. LEGO Confirms LEGO Super Mario MAR10 Reveal Not 18+ Set

The LEGO Super Mario MAR10 Day celebration will be happening in a few days which includes some sort of reveal. Nobody knows what it is but LEGO on the Ambassador Network has given a short statement about it. We can confirm that the set being revealed will not be an 18+ set so if you were hoping for something towards that line, don’t get your hopes up too much. The event will be streamed live on LEGO’s YouTube Channel on Friday at 8am.

LEGO Astronaut: Never Give Up by legotruman is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 927 piece build features a brick-built NASA Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) with 12 poseable joints as well as moveable fingers. It also includes the Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU) as well.

The LEGO Group 2022 Annual Results Report Strong Growth

LEGO has announced their annual results for 2022 and they have reported strong growth for the year while also investing in the future. Revenue grew 17% while operating profit only grew 5% due to inflation and investments in new factories. The top themes for 2022 include LEGO City, LEGO Icons, LEGO Technic, LEGO Star Wars, and LEGO Harry Potter.

• Revenue grew 17 percent to DKK 64.6 billion.
• Operating profit grew 5 percent to DKK 17.9 billion. Net profit grew 4 percent to DKK 13.8 billion.
• Free cash flow was DKK 9.3 billion.
• Market share grew globally.
• Momentum driven by large-scale investments in long-term strategic initiatives.

BILLUND, DENMARK, March 7, 2023: The LEGO Group today reported strong earnings for the full year of 2022, significantly outpacing the toy market and gaining market share. Revenue for the full year grew 17 percent to DKK 64.6 billion compared with the same period last year, including the impact of foreign currency exchange rates. The performance was driven by strong demand for the company’s portfolio, retailer partnerships both online and instore, a robust e-commerce platform and a resilient global supply chain network.
