BrickLink Design Program Series 7 Teasers

The finalists for the BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 were announced last March and crowdfunding for this wave will start in February. BrickLink has released some teasers of the final designs of the sets which includes a familiar LEGO theme for one of them. For the teasers, everyone of them relates to what the projects are looking like but for the Antique Collection, they show off some of the new Ninjago masks as well as some weapons.

As we know, this year marks the 15th Anniversary of the very popular theme and it looks like BrickLink will be doing something special with one of the BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 sets. This will also most likely make it one of the more popular ones and in turn, sell more sets. BrickLink will be revealing the final designs of the sets in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned.

Apparently the LEGO Ideas Third 2025 Review Stage has officially closed yet and there’s a few more projects that have reached the 10,000 supporter goal. We haven’t had an official LEGO baseball retail set yet (not promo items) so could we finally see one with a LEGO Ideas set?

LEGO Stranger Things The Creel House (11370) & WSQK Radio Station (40891) GWP Sold Out Online

In less than 24 hours after the release, the new LEGO Stranger Things: The Creel House (11370) and the corresponding WSQK Radio Station (40891) gift with purchase set has sold out on the LEGO Shop. No doubt the series finale of Stranger Things helped out with the sales. I’m also hearing that LEGO Stores were overwhelmed with shoppers for it along with the 2026 sets with the Creel House also selling out in stores. You can try to use the notify by email button on the product page or just follow our updates to see when it’ll go back in stock.

The LEGO Shop still has three GWP promotions going on with the main one being the LEGO Icons Vintage Parade Car (40913) which can be had with a $200 general purchase until January 11. You can also double up with the LEGO Year of the Horse (40779) with a purchase of $70. This GWP will run until January 11. Lastly, there’s a LEGO DUPLO Celebration Cake (30712) polybag with a DUPLO purchase of $40.

The Brick Fan 2025 Recap

It’s a new year and that means we can now do a recap of what when on for The Brick Fan in 2025. It’s always fun to look back and see what happened during the year compared to previous years.

There were a total of 928 posts last year with July being the month with the most news with 105 posts. Of those posts we had 19,010,766 page views and that was a 26.5% decrease in views from 2024. Although the views are down, it doesn’t really tell the whole story because the engagement through social media have increased significantly.

The most popular day on the site was May 2 with 244,621 views which was the day that the summer 2025 LEGO sets were revealed for a majority of the themes. As a result, May was also our most popular month of the year.

Again like with 2024, our review numbers are terrible since nobody really reads them. I’m not sad or disappointed in it because we’re not known that much for LEGO reviews compared to other fan media sites. We do the work and put it out there and if someone takes our opinion on a particular set, that’s good enough for me. That’s just how the cookie crumbles.

Like I mentioned before, we’ve changed up our social media strategy a little and that has boosted our presence a good deal which in turn boosted engagement. I have a certain goal in mind for 2026 and we’ll see if we can achieve that.
