LEGO Ideas Brooklyn Nine-Nine: 99th Precinct Achieves 10,000 Supporters (Again)

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine: 99th Precinct by BenFankhauser is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. This is an updated version of the one that also hit 10k in November 2021 but with 2,000 pieces less and with the same amount of details.

The project joins Dr. Seuss and LEGO, Sweet Honey, The Botanical Garden, The Crown – A Piece of History, Stargate SG1: Embarkation Room, Roscosmos Soyuz MS Spacecraft, Motorized Howl’s Moving Castle, The Stargate, Medieval Seaside Market, Brick Boulevard, Retro Comic Store, Shrek’s Swamp – 20th Anniversary, Baby Green Sea Turtle – Kinetic, Humpback Whale, and Shrek’s Swamp as the ones to reach the Third 2023 Review Stage.

LEGO Architecture World of Wonders (40585) First Look

The LEGO Building Instructions page has revealed a new 2023 LEGO Architecture set with the World of Wonders (40585). The set is said to have 382 pieces and features some wonders around the world including The Pantheon, The Great Wall of China, Al-Khazneh in Petra, and the Taj Mahal in microscale form. The set could be released as early as February but we’ll see.

LEGO Friends 2023 Animated Series Officially Announced

LEGO has announced the brand new LEGO Friends series which will be airing on YouTube starting on January 29. It will feature a 44 minute launch special and throughout 2023, there will be ten 22 minute episodes in the first season along with a holiday special. The first official episode will be airing on March 26. Check out the stills from the episode one below.

A decade on from the launch of LEGO® Friends, the LEGO Group has re-imagined the Friends Universe, with the introduction of a new diverse group of characters, to enable more children to feel represented during play. This next generation is designed to celebrate friendships in the modern world. Because the LEGO Group values children as its role models, this next generation of LEGO Friends has implemented input from kid testing and research, which all found children had a desire to see themselves, their friends and their families better represented.

A huge part of the re-imagined Friends Universe is the release of a brand new content series: LEGO Friends: The Next Chapter. Season one follows the everyday lives of Aliya, Autumn, Leo, Zac, Nova, Paisley, Olly, and Liann as they navigate their first year of high school while becoming friends. Taking place in the international hub of Heartlake City, the goal of the first season is to experience the formation of friendship amidst the backdrop of the impressive Heartlake International High School and to establish the Heartlake Community Center as a third space for the friends and the community.
