LEGO Star Wars Battles Release Date Announced

Warner Bros. Games has announced the release date of the upcoming Apple Arcade exclusive LEGO Star Wars Battles for September 24. The game has real-time, one-versus-one multiplayer battles featuring Star Wars characters, vehicles, and locations. The game is not free and requires one of the Apple Arcade subscription plans.

Warner Bros. Games, The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm Games today announced that LEGO® Star Wars™ Battles, a new, action strategy game, is releasing September 24 exclusively on Apple Arcade. The game blends iconic LEGO® Star Wars™ characters, vehicles, and locations with real-time, one-versus-one multiplayer battles.

Developed by TT Games Brighton and published by Warner Bros. Games, LEGO Star Wars Battles allows players to mix and match characters and vehicles from all over the Star Wars galaxy to create unstoppable armies. Strategy is required to deploy troops and build LEGO towers on the battlefield as they attempt to destroy their opponent’s base. Players will master both sides of the Force with a deck of light side and dark side armies, each with their own play style.

Playable across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, the game will be available exclusively on Apple Arcade for a low monthly subscription of $4.99 with a one-month free trial. LEGO Japan Teases Bricktober 2021 Sets

LEGO Japan has released a teaser for what could be the upcoming LEGO Bricktober 2021 sets. The video shows a brick-built book with the caption “once upon a time, somewhere.” As we know by now, the Bricktober promotions have mainly been centered in the Asian markets in the month of October. North America used to have them at Toys R Us but there’s been nothing here ever since the toy store chain shut down a few years ago in the US. LEGO Stores and the LEGO Shop usually don’t have anything going on for Bricktober which is a shame since there’s no alternative to getting them besides the secondary market or if you have connections.

LEGO Super Mario Bundles Available on LEGO Shop

LEGO has listed some new LEGO Super Mario Bundles that are available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. There are three bundles which are for the newest wave of Super Mario sets and they include The Team-Up Bundle (5007060), The Creative Bundle (5007061), and The Ultimate Bundle (5007062). What’s interesting is that there are no discounts on any of the bundles and everything is just bundled up for easier shopping if you intended to buy them all in one shot.

LEGO Star Wars Battle Packs Rumored to be Returning in 2022

There’s a new rumor that LEGO Star Wars Battle Packs will be returning in 2022. According to Promobricks, the popular army builder sets will be coming back next year with one reportedly being a Hoth Battle Pack (75320) releasing in January. It is said to have 105 pieces and will include three Imperial Snowtroopers and one Imperial Scout Trooper. There weren’t any LEGO Star Wars Battle Packs released this year and the last ones to be released were the Sith Troopers Battle Pack (75266) and Mandalorian Battle Pack (75267) back in 2020.

LEGO Winter Village Santa’s Village (10293) Now Available for VIPs

The LEGO Winter Village Santa’s Village (10293) is now available for VIPs on the LEGO Shop. The set retails for $99.99 and is the latest addition to the popular Winter Village Collection. While VIPs will be able to order it today, the general public won’t get it until October 1. Keep in mind that there are some promotions going on that you can get in on including the LEGO Ideas Sailboat Adventures (40487) with purchases of $200.

LEGO Seasonal Santa’s Sleigh (40499) Pricing and Release Date Revealed

LEGO has made the product listing for the LEGO Seasonal Santa’s Sleigh (40499) live and we can now see the pricing and other details for it. The set will be available on October 1 and the 343 piece set will retail for $36.99. As people mentioned before, it’s basically a reindeer “battle pack” and a cheaper way to get four reindeer.
