Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Kwanzaa from everyone here at The Brick Fan. Depending on how you look at it, this year has gone by very fast or pretty slow but we’re almost at the finishing line for the year.

Captain America: Brave New World doesn’t come out until February but LEGO has released a few sets for the movie and the one that we’re checking out today is the LEGO Marvel New Captain America Construction Figure (76296). The set has 359 pieces and retails for $34.99.
Amazon has recently dropped the price of the LEGO Star Wars The Black Falcon (75389) by 13%. The set is now listed for $150.12 which saves you about $22 on it. The Dark Falcon is from LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy and has the exclusive Darth Jar Jar and Darth Rey minifigures.
The only thing is that it ships from Amazon Japan and you won’t get it until some time between January and February. If you’ve had any hesitation from buying Amazon Japan, I’ve purchased from it before multiple times and haven’t had any issues with it.

The LEGO Fornite advertising campaign has gotten fairly big as they have gotten Grammy-nominated artist Madison Beer to promote the new game modes. LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and LEGO Fortnite Brick Life are two new game modes that enhances your gameplay within Fortnite and was recently launched.

Billund, Denmark: Grammy-nominated music star and gaming fan, Madison Beer, has joined forces with the LEGO Group and Epic Games as part of a major launch campaign for LEGO Fortnite, live now as part of an exciting month for gamers.
This December, the world of LEGO Fortnite expanded with a major game update for LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, and the release of all-new social roleplay game, LEGO® Fortnite Brick Life – as LEGO Fortnite became a new, centralised location for family friendly LEGO play experiences within Fortnite.
Madison, who has more than 74M followers across her social media, has appeared in new content to celebrate these new LEGO Fortnite launches – that content can be seen now on channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Twitch, TikTok, and online streaming platforms – whilst Madison also hosted a livestream on her official Twitch channel (https://www.twitch.tv/madisonbeer) on December 20th where, she dived into exciting adventures on LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and LEGO Fortnite Brick Life.

LEGO Japan has revealed the upcoming LEGO Chinese Zodiac Year of the Snake (40707) gift with purchase set. The set consists of 174 pieces and continues the line of Chinese Zodiac animals with the 11th set and will complete the lineup in 2026 with the Horse. There’s no word yet on the release date or pricing but it’ll be some time in January and be priced around $80.
It looks like the rumors of us getting a LEGO Bluey theme seems to be coming true as there is some concrete evidence that has surfaced. In an official post on their Facebook page, the caption shows “A Christmas fit for the Heelers! Hope your tree is full of surprises… 👀🎁” and if you look closely at the pictures, you can see what appears to be the Long Dog Easter Egg built with LEGO. If that’s not enough evidence that we could be seeing LEGO Bluey sets, I don’t know what is.
Bluey has been fairly popular, particularly in LEGO Ideas as there have been a few projects that have reached the 10,000 supporter goal but ultimately did not pass the the review stages. We’ll just have to wait and see if LEGO will actually make any sets.
Coming back again with the LEGO 2025 rumors, one that really stands out that was just reported about from different sources is that we could be getting LEGO One Piece sets. There will be five sets released next summer and will be based on the Netflix series. This rumor is way out there in left field and I’m highly skeptical of it but I’ll be overjoyed if it is true and no doubt that the Going Merry ship will be one of the sets and will feature many of the pirates.
