LEGO San Diego Comic Con 2025 Recap

LEGO SDCC 2025

San Diego Comic Con 2025 has come and gone and we can now do a recap on the LEGO happens during the event. Before it started, LEGO announced a few new sets that will be coming in the next few months. These include the LEGO Nintendo Game Boy (72046), LEGO DC Batman Arkham Asylum (76300), a new wave of LEGO Wicked sets, and the LEGO Stranger Things BrickHeadz Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will (40801). All of the sets were displayed on the outer edges at the LEGO Booth.

Speaking of the LEGO Booth, they were one of the main highlights of the whole event with the recreation of the convention center. It was made up of over 200,000 LEGO elements and has over 8,000 minifigures that are placed inside. It took 16 builders over 1,500 hours to create the masterpiece. You can still check out the booth at home by doing a Virtual Booth Tour.

If you try out the interactive zone of the booth, fans were able to build their own version of a booth and if they were good enough, they would be placed inside the brick-built convention center.

The main ones were the Pop Badges that you can get each day which included LEGO Ninjago Legends Monstrosity, LEGO One Piece, LEGO DC, and LEGO Wicked. There was also one for Preview Night which I wasn’t able to … Continue

LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz Adventure Peely & Cuddle Team Leader (40760) Changed to GWP

When the LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz Adventure Peely & Cuddle Team Leader (40760) was announced yesterday, we thought that it would be a regular set that you can purchase but it looks like that has changed. Less than a day after it was announced, LEGO has changed the set to be a gift with purchase set on the LEGO Shop. As of right now, there’s no mention why the set has been changed to a GWP or what the price requirements to get it.

Update: LEGO has confirmed that the set is indeed a gift with purchase set that you can get from August 1-11 with a $130 purchase.

LEGO Star Wars Kamino Training Facility (40765) GWP Returns

LEGO has brought back the LEGO Star Wars Kamino Training Facility (40765) gift with purchase set when you purchase the Jango Fett Firespray-Class Starship (75409). The promotion will run until August 2, while supplies last.

The GWP was originally for the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th event and you had to spend $160 in Star Wars products to get it. This time around, they are only offering for the Jango Fett Starship which is almost twice as expensive. I guess this promotion caters to those who are stilling wanting the set and needs a little incentive.
