LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales Special Announced for Disney+

LEGO has announced there will be a new Disney+ special coming this October called LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales. The show will take place after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at Darth Vader’s Castle where his servant Vaneé tells three stories of ancient artifacts and iconic villains from the Star Wars Universe. The show will air starting on October 1 exclusively on Disney+.

After the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Poe Dameron and BB-8 must make an emergency landing on the volcanic planet Mustafar where they meet the greedy and conniving Graballa the Hutt. The crime boss has purchased Darth Vader’s castle and is renovating it into the galaxy’s first all-inclusive Sith-inspired luxury hotel. While waiting for his X-Wing to be repaired, Poe, BB-8, Graballa, and Dean (a plucky and courageous young boy who works as Graballa’s mechanic) venture deep into the mysterious castle with Vader’s loyal servant, Vaneé. Along the way, Vaneé shares three creepy stories linked to ancient artifacts and iconic villains from across all eras of Star Wars. As Vaneé spins his tales and lures our heroes deeper into the shadowy underbelly of the castle, a sinister plan emerges. With the help of Dean, Poe and BB-8 will have to face their fears, stop an ancient evil from rising, and escape to make it back to their friends.

LEGO Creator Sets Coming in New Color Schemes

It has been discovered on some new LEGO certification pages that there will be some existing LEGO Creator sets that will be in new colors. The Fiat 500 (77942) will be coming out in a light blue color scheme and the Mighty Dinosaurs (77941) will be in a dark blue.

We’re not sure why LEGO has made the change but they do look more visually appealing. We are also not sure of both colors will be on shelves at the same time or not or if the new ones will be in a somewhat limited edition wave.

LEGO Marvel Shang-Chi and the Great Protector (30454) Sold Out on LEGO Shop

In less than 12 hours, it looks like LEGO has sold out of the LEGO Marvel Shang-Chi and the Great Protector (30454) polybag over on the LEGO Shop. The offer does not show up anymore even if you have the required $40 of LEGO Marvel products in your cart. Considering there are a lot of new Marvel sets that just came out, I’m not surprised that it quickly went out of stock. Your local LEGO Brand Store may still have some but I would suggest calling them to confirm. If they do, the promotion is supposed to run until August 15 or until they run out as well.
