LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures (71031) Rumored Details

There are some new rumored details for the characters of the upcoming LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures (71031) series. As we mentioned before, the series will be based around some of the Marvel Disney+ shows such as WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and What If…? If you haven’t watched any of the shows, there are some spoilers so don’t read on if you don’t want to be spoiled. The Loki and What If…? details seem to be very spoilery with what we could be seeing in future episodes.

WandaVision

Scarlet Witch will be in her new outfit where she fights Agatha Harkness. White Vision is the version seen in the show and has lot of detailed printing. Monica Rambeau looks to be in her spacey looking outfit after she goes through the Hex the last time.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Sam Wilson will be in the new Captain America outfit with brick-built wings and the shield. Bucky Barnes will have some printed arms with a knife and shield.

LEGO Friends 2021 Advent Calendar (41690) Revealed

Now that the LEGO Japan 2021 2HY Catalog is back up, we get to see some of the upcoming LEGO products and there’s an image of the LEGO Friends 2021 Advent Calendar (41690). Instead of the usual minidolls that we get for these calendars, there will be some new micro-dolls in this set. It’s a little hard to make out who the five micro-dolls are but I assume they are the main girls as kids. The image also doesn’t really show off the microbuilds so you aren’t spoiled on what will be coming.

Ask LEGO Designers Questions for LEGO CON 2021

LEGO CON 2021 is exactly two weeks away and LEGO is giving you a chance to ask a LEGO designer questions. Head on over to Twitter or Facebook and post your questions and if chosen, your question could be answered live. The post didn’t limit what you can ask so it’s pretty much free rein as to what you can ask. Obviously, keep it constructive and not ask about future sets as they will most likely not answer those.

LEGO CON will be held live on July 26 at http://LEGO.com/LEGOCON and there will be Q&As, building challenges, interviews, and even a LEGO Star Wars set reveal.

LEGO Marvel Daily Bugle (76178) Designer Video

The Daily Bugle (76178) is the largest LEGO Marvel set to date and today, LEGO released the designer video for set. Senior designer Mark Stafford talks about some of the dtails that goes into the set including talking about some of the minifigures. Note that the video didn’t really feature the Punisher even when they were showing each one individually. It’s pretty interesting but that’s another topic for another time. Currently, the Daily Bugle is backordered on the LEGO Shop but you can still put your orders in and it’ll ship by July 1.

LEGO City 2021 Advent Calendar (60303) Revealed

LEGO Japan has re-released the 2021 2HY Catalog after it was taken down a few weeks ago. One thing that we weren’t able to talk about the first time around was the LEGO City 2021 Advent Calendar (60303) which we can now see again. For this year’s calendar, it’s more vehicle-oriented but there’s also a couple of buildings as well. There’s also at least six minifigures included as well as a brick-built snowman. It doesn’t look like everything in the calendar has been revealed so there’s more than what is currently shown.

The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks Campaign Ended with 205% Funding

LEGO’s first venture into the book crowdfunding on Unbound for The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks ended last week very successfully and we now wait for the book to be published. When the campaign ended, it had a 205% funding rate with 3,660 supporters which I bet is more than what LEGO could have imagined. For a quick note, there will be 3,783 names in the back of the book on the supporter list. Now we wait for Daniel Konstanski to finish writing the book and it should be released by Spring 2022.
