Rakuten Offering Up to 15% Cash Back on LEGO Purchases

We here at The Brick Fan like to give you deals on LEGO products whether it be sales or freebies and there’s a service that we haven’t mentioned before called Rakuten. You may have seen commercials and heard of the song but they allow shoppers to earn cash back at a number of retailers, one of them being LEGO. Currently LEGO has some coupons and for a limited time, you can earn up to 15% cash back on most products. Keep in mind that exclusives are only at 2.5% which is still money back. All you have to do is to sign up and make sure activate the browser plugin to start earning cash back.

LEGO Vice President of Design Teases New LEGO Set

For the past week, LEGO Vice President of Design Matthew Ashton has been teasing out a brand new LEGO set that he has designed. It will be harder to guess what it is because Matthew is teasing the set one brick at a time, more specifically, 2×3 bricks. As of this post, the set consists of black, white, red, yellow, blue, and brown 2×3 bricks so it’ll be a while before everything is revealed. Any guesses on what this mysterious set could be?

LEGO Disney Mickey and Friends Summer 2021 Sets Officially Announced

We’ve already seen these sets a few weeks ago but LEGO has officially announced the new summer 2021 wave of LEGO Disney Mickey and Friends sets. With the announcement, we finally get some details regarding the piece count for each set as well as pricing. The sets will be available on the LEGO Shop starting on June 1 and in North America on August 1.

May 13th, 2021: Today, the LEGO Group revealed a new Mickey and Friends range with Disney, introducing five exciting sets to spark creativity and imaginative play for young children aged 4 and over.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Infinity Saga Official Images

We’ve already seen images of the upcoming summer 2021 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Infinity Saga sets and there are now some official images of a couple of them coming out of Amazon France. They currently have product listings of the Black Panther Dragon Flyer (76186) and Iron Man: Iron Monger Mayhem (76190) and we can get a closer look at them.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes The Benatar (76193) Revealed

Earlier today, the images for the summer 2021 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Infinity Saga sets were revealed and there’s one more set that has been recently shown off too which is The Benatar (76193). It has been reported that the set has 1,901 pieces and will retail for €149.99. The set is much larger than The Milano and we can see Rocket Raccoon and Star-Lord in the cockpit area.

A user on the Brickset Facebook Group has found the summer 2021 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Infinity Saga sets at a LEGO store somewhere in the world. There are at least five sets in the wave and they should be available very soon.

LEGO Looking for LEGO Certified Professionals in Mexico and Russia

Have you ever wanted to be a LEGO Certified Professional? If so, LEGO is looking for two new LCPs in Mexico and Russia. LEGO has listed a job posting stating some of the requirements they are looking for and if you’re interested, you can send your application to [email protected] by May 28.

We are currently looking for two new LEGO® Certified Professionals in Mexico & Russia

Who can apply?

The LEGO Certified Professional program is, tailored for professional individuals with excellent LEGO building skills, a collaborative approach and a strong passion for the LEGO Brand, brick and building system.

The initial requirements that LCP candidates shall meet are:

• Document a working business model and business plan for their business which is focused on creating unique LEGO experiences.
• Document excellent LEGO building skills.
• Document ability to organize and drive building projects and coordinate events/happenings.
• You speak the native language (ie Spanish or Russian) and English.

How to apply?

If you can answer “yes” to the above-defined initial requirements, we welcome your application to the LCP program. Your application shall include:

• Description of your personal profile
• Documentation of business incl business model and business plan
• Record of LEGO experiences and your portfolio of work
