Nolinor Boeing 737-200 by Design and create is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features the passenger plane that also has fully functional flaps and undercarriage.

BrickLink Celebrates 25th Anniversary in 2025

BrickLink will be celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and they have revealed a new logo for the event. The logo features a LEGO parrot which references the original logo that had the blue and green parrots on each side of the logo.

BrickLink was originally founded by Daniel Jezek which transformed from a small marketplace for buying and selling LEGO to what we see today.

LEGO Ideas Twilight: The Cullen House (21354) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Ideas set with the Twilight: The Cullen House (21354). Releasing on February 4, the set has 2,001 pieces and will retail for $219.99. You can actually start pre-ordering the set today.

The set features the three story Cullen House with the modern architecture as seen in Twilight. Inside the house, there are various memorable scenes such as Edward’s room, the piano scene with Edward playing Bella’s Lullaby, the kitchen scene, and the graduation cap frame.

Outside the house, we have Bella’s red truck, the tree next to the house to represent the tree climbing scene, and a brick-built werewolf of Jacob.

The minifigures included in the set are Edward, Bella, Jacob, Carlisle, Rosalie, Alice, and Charlie.

Taylor Swift Lover House by java_beanz is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is based on the Lover music video which we’ve seen done many times on LEGO Ideas before. As you can see from my link URL, this is the fourth time the same idea has hit the 10k goal.

LEGO® Education Announces Hands-on Learning Solution for K-8 Science

Hands-on learning helps build confidence, yet only half of students have access to these experiences in science class, according to a new LEGO® Education report. LEGO® Education Science aims to change that.

Billund, Denmark, 14 January, 2025: Today, LEGO® Education announced its new learning solution, LEGO® Education Science, to help educators bring hands-on science learning to more students. Designed to boost engagement, LEGO Education Science features 120+ engaging, standards-aligned science lessons and ready-to-use class presentations that bring science to life for teachers and students (K-8 or ages 5-11+).

Critical thinking skills and an understanding of science concepts and practices are increasingly needed for the future. Yet, the State of Classroom Engagement Report: Science Edition, a survey commissioned by LEGO Education, found that 45 percent of students who listed science as one of their “least favorite” subjects described it as “too hard”, and 37 percent felt they were “bad at it.” Notably, 58 percent of these students were girls, highlighting the ongoing STEM gap.

These findings underscore the need to reimagine science class to be more inclusive for students and teachers. In addition to understanding scientific concepts, science learning also plays a crucial role in developing skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity.
