There is a listed of rumored LEGO Super Mario 2022 sets going around online but we’ll have to see if they are related to the movie or more expansion sets. Since the movie doesn’t come out until next holiday season, we probably won’t see any of the movie sets until around summer time, if there are sets for it. It’ll be a great time for minifigure versions of the characters. *Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge*

The LEGO House Fan Day kicked off in Billund earlier today and there’s a exhibition in the Masterpiece Gallery that is filled with MOCs created by LEGO employees. The LEGO Botanical Collection Flower Bouquet (10280) is currently on sale at Amazon for 20% off. At $40, this is the lowest the set has been on the site and it could be the start of a consistent 20% off discount for it. The set is listed as “in stock soon” but they usually ship pretty fast.
LEGO has made an official statement regarding reports of LEGO set price increases in Western Europe. LEGO has stated that they have made the recommended retail price more consistent in many countries for 2022 and a majority of the sets will not see price changes. There will be some sets that will have the RRP go up or down depending on the set and country. North America will not see any of these changes.
The LEGO Group has no plans to increase the recommended retail price (RRP) of its portfolio of products.
In Western Europe, we’ve taken steps to make RRP pricing more consistent across different countries from 2022. The RRP of the majority of LEGO sets will not change as a result of this. However, on a small selection of sets the RRP will either go down or up depending on the set and the country.
There are currently no plans to make such changes in other markets.
It’s important to note that the final price charged to shoppers is set by retailers, not the LEGO Group.
A few days ago, we got our first look at some of the LEGO Bricktober 2021 Fairy Tale Collection sets and we now have the full lineup of them. As of right now, three of the four sets will be promotional sets for Toys R Us and the last one is reported to be at another retailer. Furthermore, these sets will include a storybook as well.
