The new wave of LEGO Monkie Kid sets have now been listed on the LEGO Shop and we finally have details of the set including pricing for here in the US. There’s also a small accessory set in this wave as well.

LEGO and UMG announced that DJ/Producer L.L.A.M.A is the first LEGO minifigure to sign a record deal. In addition, he has just dropped his first single called Shake featuring NE-YO and Carmen DeLeon.

Today, Universal Music Group’s Astralwerks label and the LEGO Group teamed up to introduce L.L.A.M.A to the world. He makes his debut with the infectious single “Shake,” which features three-time GRAMMY® winner NE-YO and newcomer Carmen DeLeon, who recently released the hit single “Juegas.” “Shake” is available on the LEGO VIDIYO app and at all DSPs. On Tuesday, LEGO Group teased the single, as news broke of L.L.A.M.A’s historic signing to Astralwerks. The DJ/producer is the first LEGO® minifigure to sign a deal with a record label.

LEGO x HYPE Ninjago Collection Not Coming to North America

Last month, LEGO announced a partnership with fashion company HYPE for a new line of streetwear that is inspired by LEGO Ninjago. The collection has been available in the UK and other parts of the world for a while now but North America has been left out in the cold.

I reached out to LEGO Customer Service to see if the collection will be coming to the US and it doesn’t look like that will be happening any time soon. I’ve been told from LEGO CS, “At this time, we are not offering the Ninjago x HYPE™ products in the US.” They didn’t say anything further than that. It’s a bummer that we won’t be getting it since it was a pretty hyped announcement and people were excited for it and there’s no word on when it will be released here, if ever.

LEGO Ideas The Trulli of Alberobello Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Trulli of Alberobello by Renato Lovicario RennaWSL is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is based on a type of dry-stone building called Trulli in a village of southern Italy.
