LEGO Partners with Unity for New LEGO Microgame

LEGO has announced that they have partnered up with Unity for a new LEGO Microgame. LEGO Games is celebrating their 25th anniversary and they have teamed up with Unity which is the world’s leading 3D content development platform to bring you a new game that you can create using virtual bricks. You will also be able to import your creations that are built in BrickLink Studio to the game as well. No prior coding experience is needed as it takes you through the steps of creating your game and sharing it in less than 45 minutes. Check out the press release of LEGO Microgame below.

If there’s one thing that LEGO Games and the world’s leading 3D content development platform, Unity, can agree on, it’s that creativity comes in all forms – whether it’s bringing your creation to life with LEGO® bricks or adding lines of code to develop a video game. Game development can be intimidating for some, but Unity helps lower this obstacle with its series of Microgames – guided experiences designed to get new users working in the Unity Editor quickly and easily.

On October 26, Unity will release its first-ever Microgame created with LEGO Games. For some, the thought of taking your first steps into the world of video game creation can be overwhelming, but with the new LEGO Microgame, fans can use the familiar LEGO System in Play to help them construct their first game experience.

LEGO Epic Daily Deal Sales – October 2020

Amazon has kicked off a new promotion called Epic Daily Deal and they have discounted a lot of LEGO sets significantly. The best one is the LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) which is now down to $83.99 which is the lowest it has been at. I think this is a way for Amazon to get rid of older inventory and that’s good for consumers. These sales will end tonight or when they run out of stock.

Walmart has published their Pre-Black Friday ads and we can now see what LEGO promotions they will have during the event. From November 7-8, they will have deals on the new LEGO Classic Bricks and Animals (11011) and LEGO DUPLO Creative Animals (10934) box sets for $30 each. This will save you at least $28 if you buy both since they retail for $59.99 each or $58 at Walmart. You’ll be able to find it both in stores and online but they will go pretty fast as they usually do.

LEGO Minifigure Notes & Journal Review

LEGO Minifigure Notes

Chronicle Books has recently released some of their new stationery products and they have sent over a couple for a quick review. The first is the LEGO Minifigure Notes which retails for $15.95 for a pack of 20. It includes 20 notecards with envelopes and they feature various minifigures in different scenes with most of them having positive messages and some are humorous. The cards themselves are made with higher quality paper and they come with a storage box. Even the envelopes themselves have a minifigure design on the inside.

The other thing that was sent over is the LEGO Minifigure Journal. It is priced at $10.95 and it has 192 pages that you can use to fill up with notes or use it as a diary. The pages are in three colors and each page has a minifigure design on it.

The LEGO Minifigure Notes and LEGO Minifigure Journal are fun items that both kids and adults can use in their everyday lives. The prices for them are reasonable and they can come up cheaper than what you normally can find in stores. They are now available online and you can probably also find them at stationery stores as well.

Thank you to Chronicle Books for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.

Last week, LEGO and adidas announced a new multi-year partnership for new products and it looks like we have our first look at them. Tmall, which is a operated by Alibaba, is an online store in China and they have shown off the first products for the LEGO x adidas kids collection. There are a number of different products ranging from shoes to shirts and pants to onesies. They also come in a variety of colors as well to match up with whatever style the kids want. Head on over to the link above to browse the collection. There’s no word yet on when it will arrive here in the US but it’ll be coming as soon as December 2020.
