LEGO Classic Bricks Box (11717) Official Images

The LEGO Classic brick boxes have been a known for having a lot of different colored elements in one set and a new one coming out soon will have some extras. The LEGO Classic Bricks Box (11717) will have 1,500 pieces, similar to the previous version, but it will also include four 16×16 baseplates in green, brown, teal, and white. The product listing on Amazon Japan states it will be released on May 1.

LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia – New Edition Amazon Coupon – April 2020

The LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia – New Edition was just recently released but Amazon has a coupon for an already discounted item. It is listed at $16.24 but there is an additional coupon you can apply for an extra $2.91 off the price which brings it to only $13.33.

The Character Encyclopedia gives you some facts of the LEGO Star Wars minifigures, over 200 in fact, from throughout the years and it also includes an exclusive Darth Maul minifigure as a bonus.

LEGO Super Mario Super Mushroom Surprise (30385) Official Images

There are now official images of the LEGO Super Mario Super Mushroom Surprise (30385) polybag that is a free pre-order gift. The piece count is unknown at this time but you can get it with a pre-order of the Adventures with Mario Starter Course (71360) on Zavvi. This is currently the only place in the US to get this particular polybag. I’m not sure if other retailers will get it as well or not.

LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Mario Starter Course (71360) Pre-Order at Target

Target now has the LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Mario Starter Course (71360) available for pre-order again after selling out a few days ago. It retails for $59.99 but if you have a Target REDcard, you can save $3 when you check out. There are no pre-order bonuses but looking at how fast all the pre-orders have been selling out, you may want to get it just to have it when it releases on August 1.

LEGO Brand Stores Reported Closure Until April 30

As you may know, I’ve been updating you guys about the status of LEGO Brand Stores in regards of when they would be opening back up. Most of the US is still under stay-at-home mandates and non-essential businesses still remained closed. I’ve been told, not officially, that the LEGO Stores will now remain closed until the end of April. Their latest update was to have the stores closed at least until April 12 but given the current situation around the world, it seems like that’s no longer the case. I’m going to guess that LEGO will give another update on of after April 12. In the meantime, you can still put in your orders on LEGO Shop@Home however there may be some shipping delays.

LEGO Releases Video of COVID-19 Protective Visors for Medical Professionals

Earlier today, we reported that LEGO was helping out with the COVID-19 situation by developing protective eyewear for medical professionals and just now, they have released a video of process. In the video below, molding machines crank out visors and more than 100 employees help assemble and package them up for shipment. Their plan is to expand production of the eyewear to other factories around the world.
