LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures Series 2 (71028) Rumored Partial List

There are now rumored details of some of the characters for LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures Series 2 (71028). Like with the previous series the minifigures are based on various versions of the characters from the whole Harry Potter franchise.

• Professor Pomona Sprout with mandrake
• Luna Lovegood with lion hat
• Professor Albus Dumbledore – Chamber of Secrets version with Fawkes
• Kingsley Shacklebolt
• Neville Longbottom with the Monster Book of Monsters
• Bellatrix Lestrange in prison outfit
• Harry Potter with Advanced Potion-Making
• Moaning Myrtle
• Griphook

There will 16 minifigures to collect for the Series 2 LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures so it’ll be interesting to see who else will be included in this wave. It is also reported that it will be available in September. As always, this is only a rumor until LEGO announces it so there’s a chance it could be a fake.

LEGO Bricks & Pieces Shut Down Due to Coronavirus

The Coronavirus pandemic has been causing a lot of short time issues around the world and the latest one is with LEGO Bricks & Pieces. A few days ago Danish authorities announced the closure of Denmark and that pretty much affected most of LEGO’s operations. With Bricks & Pieces, it affects the number of people who are picking the parts for the orders. To keep the workers safe, LEGO has decided to shut it down temporarily but everything else on LEGO Shop@Home is still normal. There’s no word on when it will be back up but I assume it’ll just go back up without any announcements so keep checking on it.

Due to COVID-19 we’ve had to introduce special measures at all our sites to reduce the risk of infection, including reducing the number of people who can work together at any one time to pick bricks for Bricks & Pieces. Buying bricks therefore isn’t available at the moment. This only applies to Bricks & Pieces – everything else is business as usual. We’ll have the service back up and running as soon as possible.

LEGO Super Mario Theme Details Revealed

Just like that, LEGO has revealed some sets and information about the upcoming LEGO Super Mario theme.

“Designers from both companies join forces to create a new physical play experience that brings Super Mario to life in the world of LEGO® bricks, launching later this year.

The LEGO Group announced a partnership with Nintendo that will change the way people interact with Super Mario in the physical world and engage in LEGO® experiences.

Both companies share a passion for innovation and play and their collaboration has led to a reimagination of the LEGO building experience, enabling an entirely new way to play inspired by the beloved video game icon, Super Mario.

Neither a video game nor a traditional LEGO brick-based set, LEGO® Super Mario™ is a new product line that features an interactive LEGO Mario figure who collects coins in real-life game levels created with LEGO bricks. The new line will let kids experience the playful world of Super Mario like never before. Super Mario will be cbrought to life in the physical LEGO world and new levels of challenge and styles of play will be part of the iconic LEGO experience enjoyed by generations.

The news was also shared in a video posted by the LEGO Group and Nintendo earlier today.

The video, which hints at what fans can expect when LEGO Super Mario launches later this year, shows a player using an interactive Mario figure to collect coins in a real-life game level that has been created with LEGO bricks.
