Next up on our reviews of the LEGO Jurassic World sets, we check out one of the more expensive sets, the Raptor & Titanosaurus Tracking Mission (76973). Coming in at $109.99, the set has only 582 pieces. The price is up 10% from the $99.99 that it was originally announced back in March.
A couple more LEGO Ideas projects have reached the 10,000 supporter goal in the past few days and it has considerably slowed down. We’re up to 92 projects in the Second 2025 Review Stage and it’s getting hard to keep up and see which projects have reached. This is due to LEGO Ideas not having a decent sorting function that shows the latest ones in order so you’ll have to scroll and check which ones you haven’t seen before.
LEGO has brought back the promotion for the LEGO Amelia Ticket Booth (5009157). From now until July 26, you can get it with purchases of the LEGO Ideas River Steamboat (21356), while supplies last.
In addition, LEGO is also offering the LEGO Botanicals Field Flowers (30701) polybag when you purchase the LEGO Botanicals Flower Arrangement (10345). This promo also runs until July 26, while supplies last.

A few days ago, LEGO revealed the LEGO Ideas Italian Riviera (21359) and they said that there was a Mediterranean Scene gift with purchase set to go along with it. It was thought that it would be an actual scene build but it is actually the Italian Market Van (5009422) which has just been revealed on the LEGO Shop.
The 142 piece set features a blue Piaggio Ape carrying a lemon tree along with a toolbox, broom, shovel, flowerpot, and a box with a fish and starfish. It’s a neat little set to go along with the Italian Riviera but the press release was kind of misleading.

A late night LEGO Amazon deal has popped up with the LEGO Icons Boutique Hotel (10287) being discounted by 26%. This drops the price of the set down to $170.94 which is very close to its lowest price. That was set back last September when it was discounted by 27% so it’s pretty close.

A few weeks ago we got a first look at the extremely rare LEGO Peter Jackson minifigure we now know the buyer and how much they paid for it. We can now confirm that Samuel Burkhardt aka rarest_lego_minifigures on Instagram is the buyer which isn’t too surprising.
The more shocking part is that the final price of it was $38,028 and if you account for import taxes, it’s value is probably worth over $40,000. When you check out Samuel’s account, you can see thousands and thousands of dollars of rare LEGO items that he has obtained throughout the years and the Peter Jackson minifigure may be one of the most rare ones in his collection.

We’re in pretty much unprecedented territory for LEGO Ideas as we’re now at 90 projects that have qualified for the Second 2025 Review Stage. At this point, there’s no question that 100 qualified projects is well within possibility and I’m going to venture a guess that we might even reach as high as 120. The qualifying period ends at the end of August so there’s plenty of time for projects to gather votes.
