LEGO has recently released a new LEGO Ninjago Oni Accessory Set (853866) at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home for $12.99. The 36 piece set includes three Oni demon minifigures as well as a number of weapon accessories and it is great for building an army of the Oni.

LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Sets Rumored for 2019

The LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter theme was a really popular one last year and it looks like we may not see the end of it anytime soon. Brick Fanatics has gotten information that we could see another wave coming this summer. The wave would make up of at least five sets and they would be based on the following:

-Expecto Patronum
-Triwizard Challenge/Tournament
-Hagrid’s Hut
-Knight Bus
-Hogwarts Watch Tower

Of course, everything is a rumor until LEGO announces it or images of the sets show up early at a retailer.

The LEGO Movie 2 McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys Revealed

McDonald’s has revealed the Happy Meal toys that will be for The LEGO Movie 2. Coming January 29, there are eight characters to collect including Wonder Woman, Ultrakatty, Lucy, Emmet, DUPLO Alien, Unikitty, Sweet Mayhem, and Batman, and each one comes puzzles and other items. Of course, we won’t be seeing any actual LEGO pieces as they don’t include anymore. The toys will also be able to connect with the McPlay App for more playability. BrickLink AFOL Designer Program – Second Wave of Finalists Announced

BrickLink has revealed the second wave of projects that you will be able to support for the AFOL Designer Program. Starting on February 1, you will be able to crowdfund any of the finalists and the ones that are successful will be made into an exclusive BrickLink limited edition 60 Years Anniversary set.

If you’ve been waiting for a sale on the LEGO Star Wars First Order Heavy Assault Walker (75189), aka Gorilla Walker, Amazon and Walmart currently has a pretty decent sale on it. As of this post, it is going for $109.99 which is $40 off or a 27% discount. Note that the Amazon version is with Frustration-Free Packaging which is basically them using the brown LEGO shipping box as the packaging. According to Camelcamelcamel, this set hasn’t been on sale before so this is a good deal on it if you don’t have it yet.

The LEGO Movie 2 Emmet Pod (853874)

LEGO is slowly updating their servers with products that are coming in February and one of these new items is The LEGO Movie 2 Emmet Pod (853874). Like with the pods for other themes, the front of it has a lenticular sticker showing TLM2 logo and Emmet. The set includes an Emmet minifigure and the build is of a small crane. Like with the other pods, it will be priced at $8.99. There will also be another pod for Sweet Mayhem but official images of that one isn’t available yet at this time.

The LEGO Movie 2 Trading Cards (5005775) and Awesome Collector Album (5005777) Review

From now until February 24, there’s a promotion going on at LEGO Shop@Home for some The LEGO Movie 2 Trading Cards (5007557). With a purchase of $15, you can get one pack or with a purchase of 40, you can get three packs. Also if you’re a VIP member, you can also get the Awesome Collector Album (5005777) with a purchase of $15, limit one per VIP. I made a purchase when the promotional period started so let’s take a look at what I got.

The Awesome Collector Album comes in a sealable bag so you can safely store it away if you’re not looking at it. The front cover of the album shows Rex, Emmet, Lucy, and Sweet Mayhem and the back shows the 20 sets that have been released so far for TLM2.

Inside the Album, we get the exclusive Batman #1 red foil card that is included with every album. It is slotted inside the page and there’s a space below it showing which character it is. There are 36 cards to collect and each one has their own spot in the album. I will say that the openings for the cards are a bit small so you’ll have to bend the card slightly to slide it in.

Each pack of cards include four random ones to collect and one of those cards are the gold foil version. As you can see from my opening, I have two gold Rex cards and the other one is of Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi.
