LEGO Ideas Pop-Up Book (21315) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially announced the next LEGO Ideas with the Pop-Up Book (21315). It contains 859 pieces and retails for $69.99. The project was originally designed by Jason Allemann and Grant Davis and it quickly became a fan favorite on LEGO Ideas.

The Pop-Up Book features two popular short stories, Little Red Riding Hood and Jack and the Beanstalk and both builds are interchangeable on the book base.

LEGO didn’t mention it in the press release but the set will be available starting on November 1. Check out more details in the press release below as well as more high-quality images. I’ll be releasing my review of the set later today so stay tuned for that.

LEGO Harry Potter Bricktober 2018 (5005254) Barnes & Noble Update #2

It’s been really quiet here in terms of LEGO news simply because there’s nothing to report on but that’ll change soon. In the meantime, there’s another update on the ongoing saga which is for the LEGO Harry Potter Bricktober 2018 (5005254) set. A few days ago, I reported that people have either been finding then in stores or was able to order them in store. Since that time, they are not allowing any orders to be placed on it in stores and any sets they have on hand will not be sold as there is now a strict no-sale policy on it until the end of November. From what I’ve been told on the previous post, they won’t be released until November 17.

If this wasn’t frustrating enough, another person from a different store mentioned that all four Bricktober 2018 sets will be at Barnes & Noble. I can’t vouch for that but I wouldn’t be surprised as this is the first time that we’ve heard that all four sets would be at B&N.

As I mentioned on Twitter, I don’t know what is going on with the Bricktober sets. So far, it’s been short of a disaster as everyone involved has still not said anything helpful so we’re still at the wait and see stage.

LEGO Creator Winter Village Station (10259) Amazon Sale

If you haven’t picked up last year’s LEGO Creator Winter Village Station (10259), Amazon has it on sale for a whopping 31% off the regular price. This now makes it $54.99 instead of $79.99 which makes it a great buy considering that it has 902 pieces. This set is an add-on to the Winter Holiday Train (10254) but it’s a fine set even by itself. There’s probably only two or three Double Points events left in the year so now’s a good time to stock up on Christmas/Birthday gifts. LEGO Ideas Pop-Up Book (21315) Teaser

On the heels of a major leak this past weekend, LEGO has released a teaser of the upcoming LEGO Ideas Pop-Up Book (21315). The official announcement for the set will be coming in a few days but the teaser does show the Big Bad Wolf from the Little Red Riding Hood. It’s also reported that Jack and the Beanstalk will also be included in this set as well. We’ll be able to confirm everything soon.

LEGO Minifigure Collector Frame (5005359) Promotion Now Live

The promotion for the LEGO Minifigure Collector Frame (5005359) is now live on Shop@Home. From now until October 31, you can get it for free with purchases of $75 or more, while supplies last, online and in stores. The set features a LEGO branded frame or unbranded if you don’t want to use the 2×2 LEGO tile and an exclusive stud muffin minifigure. I’ve already done a review on the Minifigure Collector Frame and you can check it out here if you like.

In addition, there’s also an unannounced Double VIP points promotion going on at the same time as well so it’s even more of an incentive to make your purchases now. I’ve been told that Double VIP Points run until the end of October.

LEGO news has been fairly slow the past few days but there deals on LEGO sets hasn’t been so here’s another one that is worth taking a look at. The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Infinity War Sanctorum Showdown (76108) is another set that is on sale and as of this post, it is going for $84.99 which is 15% off the regular price of $99.99. This is the lowest it has ever been, besides using discounts, so now is a good opportunity to pick it up if you’ve been waiting on a deal for it. Coming in at 1,004 pieces, the set also includes five characters including Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Iron Spider-man, Cull Obsidian, and Ebony Maw.
