The Walmart Black Friday 2018 deals for the LEGO Classic Creative Box (10704) and the LEGO DUPLO Creative Box (10854) are now live online. Each box is $20 and there is free two day shipping or free pickup options for both sets. Walmart stores will also be selling the sets as well starting tomorrow. These are the same deals as last year but the price is worth the amount of pieces you get for them.
In addition to the LEGO Creator Detective’s Office (10246) going on sale just a few moments ago, the LEGO Creator Tower Bridge (10214) is also on sale at good discount as well. It is also 25% off and is currently going for $179.99. The Tower Bridge is also one of the sets that will be retiring soon so this is the perfect time to get it.
It looks like Amazon has kicked off the Black Friday sales early and the LEGO Creator Detective’s Office (10246) is on a deep discount. It is currently priced at $119.99 which is 25% off the normal retail price and will be a better sale than when LEGO has their sale on Shop@Home. If you’ve elected to receive physical mail from LEGO, you may already seen the details of the upcoming Black Friday 2018 promotions. One of these deals include a sale of 20% off the LEGO Creator Detective’s Office (10246). If you check on Shop@Home, the set is temporarily out of stock. I’ve been told that LEGO is holding the inventory, both in store and online, until Black Friday actually starts.
I don’t think LEGO has done anything like this in recent years so I think they believe it will sell out during the three-day event. With the sale, the Detective’s Office will only be $127.99 which is an amazingly good deal for what you get. If you don’t think you will have time to pick it up this weekend, Amazon currently has plenty of it in stock with Prime shipping.
If you saw my post from the other day, this set is one of the over 200 sets that will be retiring soon so that means that production on the set has probably ended and whatever stock they have left will be it. For those who have been wanting to get it, I suggest doing it this weekend as it may be the last time you’ll be able to get it, especially on sale.
In addition to the reveal of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part sets, Warner Bros. has also dropped a new trailer for the movie. As expected, the trailer shows off some new characters including Rex Dangervest, voiced also by Chris Pratt, and Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi, voiced by Tiffany Haddish. If you watched closely, Puppycorn from Unikitty! also will make an appearance in the movie as well.
LEGO has officially revealed a whopping 19 sets for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. All of the sets will be available starting on December 26. The sets has a wide variety of fun builds including a Battle Pack featuring different spacemen. There’s also a a couple of sets that features both Friends minidolls and regular minifigures which is a first for LEGO.

Promobricks has found official images of more 2019 LEGO Technic sets which come right after images of the smaller sets were found in Canada. The first set is the Porsche 911 RSR (42096) which consist of 1,580 pieces.
