New LEGO Harry Potter & The LEGO Movie 2 Activity Books Coming

The LEGO Movie 2/Harry Potter

There will be some new LEGO books coming out in the future for The LEGO Movie 2 and Harry Potter which will include possible exclusive minifigures. The book for TLM2 is called Emmet’s Guide to Being More Awesome and it will be similar to the first one.

Emmet is BACK and ready to show us all how to be even MORE awesome! The LEGO(R) Movie 2 hits theaters February 9, with an all-star cast, including Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Alison Brie, and more! The sequel is sure to delight fans of all ages with its special brand of LEGO humor. This one-of-a-kind guidebook is narrated by Emmet himself(!) and comes with a buildable Emmet minifigure. It’s a must-have offering for fans of the film.

The Harry Potter one is an activity book filled with puzzles and games and it also has an unannounced minifigure.

This LEGO(R) Harry Potter(TM) activity book is packed with comics, puzzles, mazes, games, and more! Featuring all your favorite characters from the Harry Potter films, these pages are full of endless fun — plus, a buildable minifigure!

Both books have a listed release date of December 26 which is just a placeholder so that date will change. I’ll update when the book covers are revealed along with the minifigures.

New LEGO BrickHeadz Jack Skellington & Sally (41630) Listing Found

The 2018 LEGO BrickHeadz theme seems to be blowing up this year with a ton of rumored sets and it looks like we can add another one to the list courtesy of Walmart. According to the listing, it looks like we’ll be getting a Jack Skellington & Sally (41630) two pack based on Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. There’s no other details for the set but it will most likely be priced at $19.99 like the other two packs. Stay tuned for more details of this set along with the other ones.

LEGO Technic Rough Terrain Crane (42082) Revealed

There’s a European trade show going on and there are some new images of a new summer 2018 LEGO Technic set that is displayed there. Shown on the trade floor is the Rough Terrain Crane (42082) which will become the largest LEGO Technic set coming in at 4,057 pieces which will surpass the current Bucket Wheel Excavator (42055) which comes in at 3,929 pieces. The pricing of the Rough Terrain Crane will be €229.99. This set was first displayed at the Nuremberg Toy Fair at the beginning of the year but photography wasn’t allowed. Although I don’t dabble in LEGO Technic that much, fans of the theme will appreciate the functions and scale of it.

LEGO DC Villains “Confirmed” by Walmart Canada

At the beginning of the year, I reported on some upcoming rumored video games which included LEGO The Incredibles and something called LEGO DC Villains. As we know by know, the LEGO The Incredibles Video Game was officially announced back in March. It looks like now we can potentially the LEGO DC Villains video game as well. According to Variety, Walmart Canada earlier today accidentally leaked a bunch of upcoming games including the aforementioned LEGO DC Villains game. The listing has since been removed but it looks like the cat is out of the bag. Of course Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment nor TT Games will confirm it at this time but hopefully they’ll tease something now that the information is out in the wild. Perhaps they’ll announce something at E3 2018 or at San Diego Comic Con.

It has been reported that the main focus of the game will be centered around the DC villains instead of the super heroes as with previous LEGO games. Now that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is starting to wrap up their DLCs, we’ll turn our attention to the next two games in the pipeline.
