There are reports over on Reddit that the upcoming LEGO Ideas WALL·E (21303) set has been delayed for a few weeks due to a “quality issue.” I’ve also gotten a message from a reader who also works at a LEGO Brand Store and they have said the same thing. From my message, they also said that “something was not up to LEGO quality they they missed.” I’m not sure what this quality issue is about but I’m wondering if it is part of the top neck joint area that makes the head unstable and won’t stay in place as I stated in my review. I’ll try to get some more clarification and how long the delay will be. The set was scheduled to be released on September 1st.

I work at my local lego store. They were talking about the unstable problem with neck and head.

That is very nice company make it a Lego Wall-e (21303) set.
So what happen to us who has purchased one with the supposed quality issue… will Lego send us an updated joint pieces to fix regards to the head if that is the case – maybe??
Just called Lego Custom Rep in Canada and replacement fix parts are being sent to fix the neck problem. So mine is on its way in the mail.
So suggest 1st batch purchasers to do the same to call and request for the parts to fix the neck issue.. I imagine the second batch whenever that comes along will have the fixes packaged in.
Easy fix! Include a tube of Kragle with every box!

The price on Lego Shop is $69.99, but I thought it was originally $59.99. Also, the date still shows up as 9/1/2015.

Quality issues didn’t stop Toys R Us from selling it to me today!
