The LEGO Winter Village Santa’s Visit (10293) is currently on sale for 10% off the normal retail price. It is listed at $90.24 which is the lowest price it’s been at in 30 days. The set doesn’t go on sale often and it should be retiring some time this year since it was initially released in 2021.

Square Enix has announced that they are doing a LEGO contest to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII. They are asking what Final Fantasy VII setting do you want to see build in LEGO and there are four choices which include Aerith’s House, Honeybee Inn, Sector 5 Slums Church, and Water Tower Nibelheim.
FF7 is my favorite RPG of all time and I would like to see the slums church in LEGO form but my hearts goes to Aerith’s house. If I’m guessing, the build will most likely be created by a LEGO Certified Professional. It doesn’t look like there will be any official sets based on the game but as a fanatic, it’ll be cool to see anything FF7 in LEGO.
To round off Final Fantasy VII’s 25th anniversary year we want you to vote for one of four classic scenes, that we’ll remake with Lego.
We’ll then give away the final piece as a prize in a contest later this year.

The LEGO brick was patented in Denmark 65 years ago as LEGO celebrates LEGO Brick Patent Day. Without the patent, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the hobby we have today. The Danish patent was the first one filed and the applications for subsequent countries followed in the months after. There are still limited edition patent prints available in the LEGO Rewards Center which cost 650 points each. I’m surprised that they didn’t drop them to 150 like they did last year.

A decade on from the launch of LEGO® Friends, the LEGO Group has re-imagined the Friends Universe, with the introduction of a new diverse group of characters, to enable more children to feel represented during play. This next generation is designed to celebrate friendships in the modern world. Because the LEGO Group values children as its role models, this next generation of LEGO Friends has implemented input from kid testing and research, which all found children had a desire to see themselves, their friends and their families better represented.
A huge part of the re-imagined Friends Universe is the release of a brand new content series: LEGO Friends: The Next Chapter. Season one follows the everyday lives of Aliya, Autumn, Leo, Zac, Nova, Paisley, Olly, and Liann as they navigate their first year of high school while becoming friends. Taking place in the international hub of Heartlake City, the goal of the first season is to experience the formation of friendship amidst the backdrop of the impressive Heartlake International High School and to establish the Heartlake Community Center as a third space for the friends and the community.
