The pieces in this range have been infused with unique patterns and fun elements which make it clear that with the adidas and LEGO VIDIYO collection, kids can turn their world and their wardrobe into a stage for self-expression.

The comfortable, play-ready adidas and LEGO VIDIYO collection takes its graphic element cues from the LEGO VIDIYO world, translating the vibrant and playful nature onto a new stage. LEGO Ninjago 10th Anniversary BrickHeadz (40490) Purchase-with-Purchase Concept – Good or Bad?

If you didn’t see the June 2021 LEGO Store Calendar yet, LEGO will be doing a new kind of promotion for the new LEGO Ninjago 10th Anniversary BrickHeadz (40490). Instead of the usual gift-with-purchase, they will be trying out a new purchase-with-purchase promotion for it and in this case, the set will be $10 with a purchase of $85 in Ninjago products, in-store only.

I can already see some issues with it. The main thing being the in-store only one. There are still a lot of people who don’t have a LEGO Brand Store or Discovery Center near them and will probably have to resort to the secondary market. There are also those who don’t want to go to a store because of the hassle. Another problem I see with the promotion is mostly for hardcore Ninjago fans who have collected every set. To get it, they’ll have to shell out $85 to purchase a set that they already have just to get the promo. The other side of the coin is that you can probably just keep it sealed for a few years and resell it after.

I have seen a mixed bag for the actual purchase-with-purchase concept. Some people like it because it gives fans who want the extra to get it and it ensures that the promo item doesn’t run out as fast as some previous ones. There are also comments that say it’s a money grab which it kind of is. The set is stated to be $29.99 in the T&Cs, so … Continue

LEGO Art World Map (31203) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially announced the new LEGO Art World Map (31203) which is the largest set that LEGO has designed coming in at 11,695 pieces. Releasing on June 1 for $249.99, the World Map is the latest addition to the LEGO Art in which the map is inspired by bathymetric mapping of the ocean floor.

Travel put firmly back on the map with huge new LEGO® Art set

Wanderlusters prepare to be enthralled by the magic of a different sort of map – the new LEGO® Art World Map. This new addition to the LEGO Art collection contains the most pieces ever included in a set in the LEGO Group’s history, with its 11,695 elements allowing builders to immerse themselves in creating a stunning representation of the earth from 2D LEGO tiles.

The new LEGO Art World Map can be reimagined in a number of different ways to express the personality and travel memories or wishes of different builders. Customisable brick-built pins can be placed to mark out destinations already visited or highlight those still on the builder’s bucket list to give this masterpiece a personal twist before it’s proudly displayed.

The set’s building instructions show how the 40 interconnecting base plates are divided into three sections for the build that can be arranged in one of three different ways, allowing you to place your favourite part of the world in the centre of your map.

The oceans on this 25.5 in. (65cm) high and 40.5 in. (104 cm) wide masterpiece can also be tailored to

Marvel’s Eternals Teaser Trailer Gives Glimpse of LEGO Tie-In Sets

LEGO Marvel Eternals

This morning, Marvel dropped the official teaser trailer for the Eternals movie and we get a first look at what the LEGO sets could be referencing. The Eternals isn’t your typical MCU movie as it focuses on an immortal alien race created by the Celetials who have secretly lived on Earth for over 7,000 years. The beginning of the trailer shows the triangular ship from the Rise of the Domo (76156) but that’s as much that was shown for the LEGO tie-in sets.

There are at least four sets that will be for the movie and we’ve already got details for them thanks to the January 2021 catalog. There’s still no word on when they will be available but it’ll be before or around the time the movie releases in theaters on November 5.

Deviant Ambush! (76154) – 197 pieces/$24.99
In Arishem’s Shadow (76155) – 493 pieces/$59.99
Rise of the Domo (76156) – 1,040 pieces/$89.99
Eternals’ Aerial Assault (76145) – 133 pieces/$9.99

LEGO Star Wars 2021 Advent Calendar (75307) Rumored Details

There are some rumored details of the LEGO Star Wars 2021 Advent Calendar (75307) and what characters we can expect to see in it. If you don’t want to be spoiled by what could be in the set, I would skip this post. Word has it from Promobricks is that it will be based mostly on The Mandalorian and six characters will be Stormtrooper, Scout Trooper, and Tusken Raider, IG-11, Din Djarin (Mandalorian), and Grogu (The Child) with the last two having festive attire.

In addition, some of the builds in the 335 piece set will have microscale builds of The Razor Crest, Cobb Vanth’s speeder bike, TIE Fighter X-Wing, blue Landspeeder, Tusken ballista, E-Web blaster, Imperial Troop Transport, Moff Gideon’s Light Cruiser, and a weapons rack.
