LEGO Technic Summer 2020 Official Set Images

Yesterday we just talked about the summer 2020 LEGO Technic set and now there are official images of the set coming out of Meinspielzeug.ch. These sets include the Cement Mixer Truck (42112), Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey (42113), and 6×6 Volvo Articulated Hauler (42114). Note that the Osprey does come with a brand new Powered Up battery box and none of the sets have a B-model build like in previous years.

LEGO Super Mario Product Range Officially Revealed

The LEGO Super Mario theme was announced back in March and LEGO has been sharing various expansion sets here and there but today, they have revealed the full product range for the theme. There are a total of 16 sets that will be available starting on August 1.

I’ve been playing with a few of the sets for a few weeks and was also invited to the super secret LEGO Super Mario Championship which I competed in various challenges against other Recognized LEGO Fan Media. I believe I finished 5th in our pool of eight participants. It was a good experience to test out the product and I have a feeling that kids will enjoy it as well.

We’ve been sent over a slew of images of the sets but I just want to highlight the box and the sets themselves. There’s also a press release that includes the prices for them as well.

LEGO Ideas Third 2019 Results Coming Soon

There hasn’t been any word yet but I have a feeling that the LEGO Ideas Third 2019 Results will be announced soon. LEGO did state that the results should be revealed in summer 2020 but we haven’t officially hit summer yet which actually starts next week. Last year, the 2018 results were announced in May but due to COVID-19, everything has been pushed back a little this year. Also the fact that some LEGO employees have started talking about it is another sign that the results should be coming pretty soon. I expect LEGO to start doing teasers for it as well.

As a reminder, there are twelve projects that qualified for the Third 2019 Review Stage and they are:

Queen: I Want to Break Free – Han Sbricksteen
Seinfeld 30th Anniversary – BrentWaller
The Legend of Zelda: BotW Stables – Hanwasyellowfirst
Planet Express Delivery Ship – Nicola Stocchi & gabriele.zannotti
