You’ll be able to get it free starting tomorrow with purchases of $85 or more until the end of the month or while supplies last. The set has 189 pieces and the design was from the LEGO Ideas vintage car building contest from last year.

LEGO Botanical Collection Officially Announced

LEGO has officially announced the new LEGO Botanical Collection which includes the Flower Bouquet (10280) and the Bonsai Tree (10281). Both sets will retail for $49.99 and will be available starting on January 1. There will also be the smaller sets which include the LEGO Roses for $12.99 and the LEGO Tulips for $9.99.

LEGO Appoints Colette Burke as New Chief Commercial Officer

LEGO news have been pretty slow for the holidays but it has been recently announced that LEGO has appointed Colette Burke as their new Chief Commercial Officer. At the beginning of the year, Colette will be taking the reigns of the position and will be responsible for LEGO’s global strategy including e-commerce, retailer partnerships, omnichannel development, LEGO Brand Stores, and further expansion into new countries. Before this, Colette was the Vice President Global Sales of Bose.

The LEGO Group appoints Colette Burke as Chief Commercial Officer

BILLUND, December 21, 2020: The LEGO Group today announced the appointment of Colette Burke as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer effective January 1, 2021.

Colette joins the LEGO Group from consumer electronics company, Bose Corporation, where she was Vice President Global Sales. During her 25-year career at Bose Corporation she has held a wide range of commercial, general management and marketing roles of increasing scope and responsibility at a global, regional and national level, including 19 years in the United States. She began her career as a management consultant in Germany.

Colette will be responsible for the Group’s global commercial strategy including e-commerce, retailer partnerships, omnichannel development, LEGO®-branded retail stores and continued expansion into new countries. Reporting to her will be the Group’s Market Group heads based in Americas, EMEA, Asia Pacific and China and LEGO Retail.

Best Buy currently has the LEGO City People Pack – Space Research and Development (60230) on sale for only $31.99 which is 20% off the normal retail price. This is the lowest price I’ve seen the set at and it seems to be at the end of its shelf life as it was released last year on the LEGO Shop. The only downside is that you’ll get it in 2-3 weeks.
