Five Projects Qualify for Third 2018 LEGO Ideas Review Stage

The LEGO Ideas Third 2018 qualifying period has now ended and there were a total of five projects that will move on to the Review Stage. These projects are Dinosaurs Fossils Skeletons – Natural History Collection, Chemical Plant, Food Stand Diners, Queen Victoria Cruise Ship, and Playable LEGO Piano. Which project do you want to see become an official LEGO Ideas set?

LEGO is also wrapping up the Review Stage for the Second 2018 projects which consists of 10 projects and those results should be coming any time now.

The Playable LEGO Piano by SleepyCow is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,798 piece build features a concert grand piano and has actual working keys with attention to realistic features. It even allows Power Functions to enable a self playing mechanic.

The project now joins the Dinosaurs Fossils Skeletons – Natural History Collection, Chemical Plant, Food Stand Diners, and Queen Victoria Cruise Ship as the projects to reach the Third 2018 Review Stage.

The project recreates the Cunard luxury cruise liner with 2061 pieces and it is a 1:565 scale of the real life ship. The LEGO Ideas Ship in a Bottle (21313) has been fluctuating in sales the last few days with it being at its lowest price point at $55.99. This is 20% off the retail price of $69.99. This was one of the sets that I ranked one of the top 10 LEGO sets of 2018 and it’s even better with the discounted price. According to Amazon, it won’t be in stock until December 20 and will be arriving after Christmas.
