LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192)

For those who are still looking for it, Amazon currently has the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) in stock at the retail price of $799.99. It seems that Amazon is the place to keep an eye on as they seem to be getting more stock and on LEGO Shop@Home itself. There’s also free shipping for Prime members as well.

LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Pod (5005376) Promotion Coming Back in April

LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Pod (5005376)

Back in December right when the promotion for the LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Pod (5005376) was about to begin, LEGO announced that it would be cancelled due to part of it not meeting quality standards. Fast forward a few months and it looks like LEGO has fixed whatever issue it had and the promotion will be back on from April 13 – May 3. The promo will be similar to before where you have to spend $60 or more on a LEGO Star Wars purchase. The only difference is that the promotional period is shorter and will end right before the May the 4th promo begins. I know there’s a specific niche of collectors who like these pod type sets and will be glad to know that the Darth Vader Pod wasn’t completely cancelled, just delayed.

LEGO Star Wars: Choose Your Path Book Coming in June

LEGO Star Wars Choose Your Path

Back when I was in grade school, there were these popular books called Choose Your Own Adventure in which you, the reader, are taken through an adventure and you’ll face options at various points to be taken to a number of different endings. This summer, DK will be releasing their own CYOA book with LEGO Star Wars: Choose Your Path which has the same premise. The book has 128 pages and will be available on June 5.

As with many other DK books, there will also be a minifigure included as well. Note that it doesn’t say “exclusive” minifigure so it could be one that has already been released. We’ll just have to wait and see who it will be as we get closer to the release date.

You can pre-order it now on Amazon for $19.99 with free shipping for Prime members who also get the Pre-order Price Guarantee.

Be the hero of this book and choose where to go in the LEGO® Star Wars(TM) galaxy. Learn how to battle, who to team up with, which side of the Force to join, plus much, much more. Read the text, then decide where to go next by selecting one of two options on every page. Do you want to travel around Jakku by speedy quadjumper or by four-legged luggabeast? Will you choose to join the rebels over Scarif, or to fly after the Inquisitor? On Mustafar, do you dare to battle Anakin, or will you join him on the dark side of the Force?!

LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) Back on Amazon

Here’s some early morning news as the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) is now back in stock on Amazon at regular price exclusively for Prime members. It seems that Amazon has been restocking the set more frequently than on Shop@Home which is weird. I have no idea how much stock they have so get on it if you don’t have it yet.

Update: Sorry folks, it looks like it’s gone for now.
Update 2: It looks like they’re coming back in stock in small batches.

LEGO Star Wars Solo: A Star Wars Story Character Posters

LEGO Star Wars Solo: A Star Wars Story

A few weeks ago, Star Wars revealed some new teaser character posters for Solo: A Star Wars Story and today, LEGO recreated those same posters in their own unique way, in LEGO form of course. The vintage looking posters show a young Han Solo along with Chewbacca, Qi’Ra, and Lando Calrissian with a small image of the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon being chased by some TIE Fighters. Hopefully LEGO releases these posters as a promotional item similar to The LEGO Batman Movie ones.

The LEGO Star Wars Solo: A Star Wars Story sets come out this April and we’ll probably start seeing the rest of the sets most likely next month. That’s if they don’t show up earlier at some online retailers sooner than that.

LEGO Wins Three Awards at 2018 Toy of the Year Awards Gala

The 2018 Toy of the Year winners were announced yesterday just ahead of the New York Toy Fair and I’m happy to say that LEGO wins big again this year. LEGO was nominated in five categories this year including:

Collectible of the Year – The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures (71017)

Construction Toy of the Year – LEGO Star Wars BB-8 (75187) / LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean The Silent Mary (71042)

Creative Toy of the Year – LEGO Make Your Own Movie

Specialty Toy of The Year – LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192)

Tech Toy of the Year – LEGO BOOST Creative Toolbox (17101)

LEGO picked up three awards last night for LEGO Star Wars BB-8 as the Construction Toy of the Year, LEGO Boost for Tech Toy of the Year, and the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon for the Specialty Toy of the Year. This is the second year in a row that LEGO has won for Construction and Specialty Toy of the Year.

With some of the new LEGO products coming out this year, I’m sure we’ll be seeing LEGO again on the ballot in a few categories and they have a great chance for the coveted Toy of the Year award.
