From time to time, we have something serious to talk about. There is a new ad campaign from the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women which features Wyldstyle from The LEGO Movie to help promote heart disease awareness.
The campaign was created by Warner Bros., the AMA, and the Ad Council to make people aware that heart disease is the number one killer of women in the country, causing more fatalities than all cancers combined. Elizabeth Banks (Wyldstyle) asks women to “Shout louder, stand stronger, and demand change.”
The LEGO Movie premieres on February 7th which is also the same day as National Wear Red Day and is the 10th anniversary of Go Red For Women. Learn more about the movement at https://www.goredforwomen.org/.

The main theme song that you’ve been hearing in the trailers, “Everything Is AWESOME!!!,” by Tegan and Sara featuring The Lonely Island will also be on the soundtrack including a few other versions of the song by various artists. The CD will be released on February 11th and I’m pretty sure it will eventually be available for digital download as well.
