LEGO Restaurants of the World: Italy (40909) Sold Out – Replaced with Mexico

The LEGO 2x Insiders points event is still going on but the LEGO Restaurants of the World: Italy (40909) has sold out online and has been replaced with Mexico (40907). The Mexican taqueria was first released back in April and that one lasted through the promotional period. LEGO Brand Stores may still have Italy in stock so double check with them first before you go.

Amazon has recently dropped the price of the LEGO Star Wars Chopper (C1-10P) (75416) by 30% which is the lowest it has been at. The set is now priced at $69.99 and that is a $30 savings on the droid. The set isn’t one that will be retiring any time soon but a 30% savings on it is not too shabby.

LEGO Retiring Soon List – October 2026 Update

We’re now halfway into October and LEGO has updated the Retiring Soon list on the LEGO Shop and there are now more than 250 product items, including accessories, that are going away soon. There were many items that have already sold out and we’ve removed them from the the list.

Note that this list is for the US so there might be other items for other countries that aren’t on this one.

As of this post, there is 2x Insider points going on as well as for the LEGO Restaurants of the World: Italy (40909) with a $180 purchase. LEGO 2x Insiders Points Coming October 13-19

LEGO’s latest newsletter has revealed that there will be another double Insiders points shopping event starting soon. It will be from October 13-19 but it doesn’t say if it’s a general purchase or on select sets. When you click the link, it does take you to a blank page that says 2x points on select sets.

The double points event does coincide with the release of the LEGO Restaurants of the World: Italy (40909) when you make a $180 purchase. You can also get an extra GWP for free when you use one of our codes for the LEGO Ninjago Mini Ninja Combo Mech (30699) which is still going until October 19 for the US.
