London Toy Fair 2014 LEGO Set Report

The London Toy Fair 2014 is currently going on right now and the teams over at Brick Fanatics as well as All About Bricks has been covering what’s been going on. They have done initial reports of the LEGO sets displayed at the convention. Unfortunately, photography is not allowed. but Exhibit 3 Sixty has managed to get one of the LEGO City display. Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit

Smaug will be a similar size to the dragon in the Dragon Mountain (70403) set. The Witch King will also make an appearance and will glow in the dark. Elrond makes a return and looks similar to the polybag version from the LOTR game pre-order bonus.

Series 1 of the new LEGO Mixels will be available in March, Series 2 in June, and Series 3 in September.

Super Heroes

Cyclops is confirmed in the X-Men set along with the X-Jet aka Blackbird. Cyclops will be in his Astonishing X-Men outfit. Storm will have a black outfit and Magneto will have white slicked back hair. The X-Jet will have a different look from the comics and the Marvel Super Heroes video game. The front of the jet is blunt and will be smaller than the Avengers Quinjet.

The 2015 LEGO DC sets will be delayed until 2016 to coincide with the Batman Vs Superman movie. A new DC range will be replacing it in the meantime for next year.
