USA Today has released the first animated short for the new DC’s Super Hero Girls series. If you remember back in April, Warner Bros. announced that LEGO will also be producing sets based on this series. There’s still no word yet on of the characters of Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Bumblebee, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Katana will be actual minifigures or mini-dolls similar to the Friends and Elves themes. I have a feeling that it’ll be the latter.
The LEGO Group will also be key to building the DC Super Hero Girls franchise, leveraging their experience and success engaging girls in creative construction play to bolster this universe through an array of LEGO® building sets designed to inspire girls’ imaginations.

As much as I love DC comics. I don’t get why they turned PI and HQ, two major batman villainesses into heroines. That’s going to hurt some sentiments for LEGO fans who are also real fans of DC.
Because they don’t have their $h17 together at DC like the MCU.
I hope the show is good. I’m sure my 5 yo daughter will love it, but I hope I can enjoy watching it with her. Also hope it’s not minidoll figs. She loves the regular old minifigs and the friends stuff doesn’t do it as much for her. That’s not my doing either, I love the colors included in those sets for builds.
Well all the main characters except katana and bumblebee are available as regular minifigs in the normal sets. So she can just get those sets instead.
A DC Super set(s) with those two would be awesome. You could put BB in a Young Justice set and find a place for Katana in the Justice League.
Wonder WOMAN feals extremely out of place in a high school setting.
That’s Diana? I would have thought Donna Troy. Now my nerd brain is really frying.
Looks like Green Lantern and Star Sapphire are there too. Dr. Midnight.. etc. I guess everyone is a teenager here.
I Hope this show will be a big for CN because that’s the 1 thing we all need.
