A few weeks ago, we got our first at the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman Gotham City Cycle Chase (76053) and and now there are some new high quality images of the set. First are some close up images of the minifigures courtesy of Just2Good. Here we have close up images of both the new Harley Quinn and Deadshot minifigures that will be included in the set which are based on the New 52 series. The other images are from Roger who emailed in the back of the box as well as the product image of the set. The price point of the set is rumored to be at $19.99.

Well this isn’t exactly based on Suicide Squad. No doubt it was made BECAUSE of Suicide Squad, but we won’t be seeing and Legos based directly on the film unfortunately.
Hey, if they can release not one but two Fire Starter Sets, I don’t see why they can’t make at least one set with the word “suicide” in the title…
New Harley with the Zombie Cheerleader hair that the last one should have used, a first-time Batman villain (I believe this is the first since Man-Bat two years ago, since Deathstroke is more Teen Titans). This begins to make up for how they just tainted the Batman theme by infecting it with Adam West, the twit who campaigned to get all the funding pulled from Burton’s Batman film.

Nope. Same Type 3 cowl that was introduced in 2015’s Black Manta and Gorilla Grodd sets, and that’s appeared again in the summer 2015 wave and the new BvS sets. The ears are very short and skinny when viewed from straight on, but have a very wide base from the side. They can look very different based on the exact angle of POV, but if you take a physical copy and try to match the angle used in the photo they look exactly the same. The first run didn’t seem to have any design flaws, so I can’t imagine they would have made any running changes like they did with the Type II cowl when they had to adjust the way it sits so the holes would line up with the face better.
