The 2016 London Toy Fair has kicked off and it looks like our friends over at Brick Fanatics has the initial scoop of some of the LEGO sets that have been shown off to invited attendees. Again, photography is not allowed in the LEGO booth so we’ll have to wait a few days for the Nuremberg Toy Fair to see them. Note that these sets do correspond to some of the rumor posts I have previously done. Stay tuned as I’ll keep this post updated when more news come in.
Update: Huw over Brickset has given more in-depth details of some of the non-licensed sets.
Update 2: CapnRex101 has done his report on the LEGO Star Wars sets as well as DC sets.
Update 3: LostinTranslation has updated with more themes.
Update 4: Angry Birds and Minecraft info has been added.

Wow, probably some of the worst descriptions. They were rushed in and out I heard, so I guess you can’t blame them.
I’ll update when Brickset has done their post.
Mixels?
No Mixels were shown.
Red Hood!!! Finally!!!! So man new figs from Marvel and DC. Gonna be another poor year for my wallet, Rich year for my collection!
I was giddy the moment I saw the Killer Croc set.
How big is the set itself? Three rather pricey sets on the Superheroes front. Hoping Scarecrow, Killer Croc and the Bridge Battle are worth it!
Correction: saw this announcement, sorry for the confusion
also nice to get blue beetle, katana, captain boomerang, and a big fig of killer croc
Whoa, didn’t even notice BB! Nice
Captain Rex’s AT-TE Walker should be 75157. That was what it was previously reported, plus you have the Star Scavenger set with the same number.
Thanks for the post!
I sure hope the msrps are swapped on the tie advanced and the encounter on jakku. I’d really like to be able to get bb8 in a sub $50 set.
Also two ships for $30 seems a hella good price.
no its 80 bucks now it got updated, i know is was bummed too
Is the Eclipse starfighter from The Force Unleashed? When I google “Star Wars” and “Eclipse” together I get the super star destroyer.
No it is supposed to be an in house project like The Yoda Chronicles, and it is a smaller black ship, check the eurobricks post for more detailed description though.
Interesting, but is that really a cargo ‘place’ for 17.99 or a cargo plane for 17.99? (Though I’m guessing that price is then a typo or it is a REALLY tiny cargo plane)
ha lol
Man 2016 will definitely be the year of The NinjaGo Ninjas!
Thank you for sharing! It seems like we will be getting some Suicide Squad minifigures, not from the movie but still. I cant wait for the Marvel sets!
Mixels was unusually absent from the fair. The NEXO Knights sets sound awesome, though.
Looks like Lego’s trying to give us the Suicide Squad, nice! Now we just need Enchantress, Rick Flagg, and Slipknot!
And Amanda Waller, and El Diablo, and whoever else the “unspecified” roles may add to that list.
Yeah, forgot about El Diablo, Waller seems unlikely, but with Aunt May and Captain Stacy, i can see it happening.
Waller isn’t a household name (yet), but within the DCU, she’s kind of a big deal. I know she appeared in the DCAU (JL/U and Batman Beyond, I believe), and she’s been in a few of the direct-to-DVD film series. Since B:TAS started, I’m pretty sure she’s been in more projects than Captain Marvel or pretty much any of the old characters that the Watchmen were based on (Captain Atom, the Question, Ted Kord Blue Beetle, etc.). Still, a branded Suicide Squad set probably would have been her best shot at a minifig outside of SDCC, and I think that’s only slightly more likely than an official Deadpool movie set.
So, we get our third versions of Scarecrow and Catwoman, and the first for either since 2012, Killer Croc is back for the first time in ten years (and the first Batman bigfig), two brand new Batman villains, and two other first-time DC characters? Kinda makes the Juniors set look like a waste of effort. Maybe. Depends on what they did with Lex.
And Blue Beetle. I don’t remember reading his name the first time I read this article, but I also don’t remember Brickset having DC news posted at the time.
Yea, I’ve been updating sporadically when Brickset has their info available.
what do they mean by new Star wars IP?
Something LEGO created similar to The Yoda Chronicles.
Two more lighthouses this year… I like.
the Bridge battle build does’t sound to good, but the mini figures sound fantastic
c’mon, admit it, you’re gonna spend some of your money on them friends amusement park sets and the city volcano sets, not just star wars and super heroes
Which Inquisitor come’s with Captain Rex’s AT-TE Walker (75157) or was it not specified there?
It was not specified, but it should be the seventh sister or fifth brother as they are the only ones that have been established so far in the series.
Hold on, the inquisitors weren’t even in the AT-TE episode. Kallus is more appropriate. Anyway, I hope its the sister.
I am pretty sure the fifth brother appeared at the very end of that episode. Kallus would be more appropriate but it nullify the value of him in the AT-DP set as he is the main draw and a single pilot figure will be in a microfighter or if they chose the helmet-less version which would no longer make the variant of him in the assault cruiser exclusive since so far that hair mold in that color is exclusive to that set only. It is rumored though that the AT-TE will come with the fifth brother but nothing has been confirmed.
I hop see newer 2016 Lego set are included in the Lego London Toy Fair.
Killer Croc, Blue Beetle, an affordable Scarecrow, Vulture, Scorpion, Kraven!? Not to mention Red Hood and Cap Boomerang! Hands down, the super heroes sets are my favorites this year. Dare I say they beat the Star Wars sets by a few lengths.
Is it Ted Kord or Jaime Reyes?
I think Jaime due to brickset descriptions, who IMO is much more exciting than Ted Lord.
The all new 2016 summer Lego set are great build so ford.
my wallet’s gonna take a licking this year.
